PERRY STREET
Site: 173 Perry st, New York Project: Residential Date: October 2014
This apartment occupies the second and third floors of the Meier North Tower in New York City. The client is a multi-generational family of four, consisting of a father and mother, their daughter, and a grandparent. Both the father and mother work, and receives clients, in their home. Thus, this multi-functional home needs to serve as both a home for a multigenerational family as well as an office for the parents. The proposed solution is achieved through the use of movable panels.

THE MOBIUS
Site: 375 Park Ave, New York Project: Office Date: December 2014
This office occupies the second and third floor of the iconic Seagram building. The client is an advertising company created via a merger of three different companies with three directors leading their own teams. The concept for this project is the mobius strip, which is representative of the melding of the three original companies and their collective movement forward as one new company. The strip transforms the organization of traditional departmental areas while blurring spatial boundaries, creating a culture of infinite possibilities and enhanced interaction with clients. HOT DESKING DECO
Site: 70 Pine Street, New York Project: Office Date: May 2015
This project takes on the challenge of designing a contemporary space for a coworking center in a historical art-deco building. The inspiration comes from an art-deco fountain motif from the 181 Madison Belmont Building in NYC. Transforming this historical artifact with contemporary vision and experimenting with various materials and methodologies, this project aims to capture the fluidity of the fountain motif. The secondary goal is to offer mixed amenities in the co working space to blur boundaries between social, retail, and event programming.

ATLANTIC OCEAN
Project: Exhibition Date: Nomber 2015
We have all spent many summer days at the beach, but have never really explored the ocean floors. We have fond memories of fishing, collecting shells and crabs and swimming with GREATthe CORAL whales, but have never imagined what creatures look
DEEP BLUE
like in the dark trenches. Under the Ocean is an exhibition that takes children aged 5-8 through the waters around the globe in a yellow submarine bus as everything changes from busy port to icy Arctic, dark seas and beautiful sunsets. EGYPT RED SEA

THE CHILD
Site: Brooklyn, New York Project: Object Date: September 2014 Photo Credit by Chi-An Chu Inspired by the position of a fetus in the mother’s womb, this pillow encourages users to stretch their bodies as if they are under the protection of their mother. Our hectic lifestyles propels us forward, however, there are always moments when we wish to disengage. By creating a soft “mother-womb” space, this pillow acts as a body container providing a personal space for relaxation and privacy. The structure of the pillow induces the user’s body to adopt a resting yoga pose, i.e. a child’s pose, helping the release of accumulated muscle stress.
