Sometimes it just takes a new perspective. We all can get bogged down in doing things because “we’ve always done it that way” - I’m here to tell you we can’t just keep on keeping on.

When we fail to pay attention to how things change, whether it is the fact that we can get accurate property records online instead of heading down to the register of deeds, or that consumers want to sign paperwork with their phones and hear about the latest offer on their property via FaceTime while in their pajamas, we fail a little bit and, over time, that failure to adapt adds up in lack of efficiency, lack of consumer service and ultimately, lack of confidence.

So, in 2019, I encourage and challenge you to stretch your usual way of doing and thinking. Embrace change, BE the change that creates a better way. Embrace solutions even if you didn’t think of them. And think of them, too.
