On the Spot Full Service Car Wash
6555 University Drive NW Huntsville AL 35801-1717 (256) 721-4200
https://onthespotautodetail.com/
Here at On The Spot, our hearts have always beat for the purity of the aesthetic of automobiles. We have been serving our customers in the Madison and Huntsville area with quality and attention to detail service since we opened in 2005. On The Spot started as a mobile unit business consisting of a pickup truck, a trailer, and a pressure washer. Using the bootstrapping method, owner Nate Sharp has grown the business to seven locations across the Southeast USA, which currently operate with six mobile units and an appointment list two months long. Now, every vehicle that goes through our state-of-the-art facilities or Mobile-Unit is treated with absolute respect; and every employee on our staff stands behind our motto, “No spot goes untouched!” On The Spot is an organization with a long-term commitment to continuous extraordinary satisfaction. Our mission here at On The Spot is to become the first-choice supplier to all of our current and future customers. By listening to our customers’ wants and needs, we have developed a system to succeed.
Currently, we are building our $7 million flagship facility in Huntsville, Alabama with state-of-the-art equipment and an assembly-style conveyor belt running over 220 feet in length. The Grand Opening is set for early 2023. At this location, On the Spot will boast the world’s longest full-service process. This wash service combines both man and machine into an efficient assembly line. Our mission is to provide an exceptional level of clean that requires no work on the part of the customer. But we are not just a carwash. Our facility is also equipped with two dry bays for tint and paint correction, three detailing bays, and one hand wash bay. We will also be serving our customers via mobile units. There is no other facility where you can get protective, restorative, and aesthetic services for your vehicle in the same facility where you get a high-quality wash.
We have noticed that many express wash customers spend an average of thirty minutes after their wash cleaning their vehicles themselves. We would like to offer our customers a more relaxing and enjoyable experience during their wash while our employees do all the work, leaving the car clean inside and out. For customers, we will have a 40ft wraparound bar that will serve snacks, beverages, and complimentary beer and wine. We will also have a Spot-on self-serve station for all customers, featuring fair trade coffee, organic sodas, and snacks. Available to members will be a cigar lounge, where they can view the final stages of our assembly-line process. There will also be an outdoor patio and free high-speed Wifi. The customer waiting areas will include a 700-gallon saltwater aquarium and over 20 large 4k televisions.
This facility was a plan seven years in the making. Nate saw a need in the market for a full-service car wash that provides a total clean for customers so they do not have to do any work themselves, while still upholding his philosophy that “no spot goes untouched.” On The Spot’s hand-wash only facility can finish up to 110 cars per day, but it is currently well past capacity. Nate came up with the idea of running a single assembly line process,

Discover the Gifts You Bring to Work
There are six different types of gifts that are required of any group of people trying to get something done.
Knowing your gifts allow you to make adjustments in your life that increase your work satisfaction, raise your level of effectiveness, and increase the likelihood of sustainable success. The Working Genius assessment can help you to experience the relief and joy that this knowledge can bring to you.
Even better, give the assessment to your whole team. There are two fundamental ways that a team can be transformed by using The Six Types of Working Genius.
First, individual team members can increase their productivity and morale by maximizing the time they spend in their areas of genius and minimizing the time they spend in their areas of frustration.
Second, a team can significantly increase the likelihood of success by ensuring that they have filled all six of the geniuses required to get something done.
