HTA Collectively We think our ethos of ‘creative collaboration’ is sustained by our habit of eating together and food certainly plays a central role in our mission as a practice of ‘Making Great Places, and a Great Place to Work’. As such a delicious lunch menu is freshly prepared in-house by our catering team for staff to enjoy daily together as well as a diverse breakfast buffet which is available first thing.

HTA Socially We have developed a strong social culture inherent in everything that we do as a practice and we strongly believe that success comes from working together collaboratively and spending time together socially. This can be seen in the annual calendar’s varied programme of whole office excursions, study visits, team events, staff and family picnics and parties.

HTA Creatively Creativity is one of the cornerstones of HTA’s corporate and cultural values and professional processes are designed to stimulate and allow for the maximum opportunity fior creativity. Outside of project work, this creatve theme is supported through monthly sketch club outings and Makery Make’s craft workshops which are freely available for staff to participate in.

HTA Community Alongside our project work, we actively promote and participate within a programme of community based initiatives. This gives staff the chance to experience a different type of working environment - working directly with communities, enhancing our understanding of the projects that we undertake and the communities in which we work. As well as this we also commit to an annual programme of fundraising for charities that have been nominated by our staff.

HTA Recreationally We believe that as an organisation we’re stronger if all staff feel their contribution will be respected and valued. Our range of staff teams and clubs are a great way to help individuals feel more confident about making their own contribution and there’s opportunity to become a member of the Football, Netball or Softball teams, participate in the running & cycling clubs or contribute to the monthly book & film clubs.

HTA Contextually We actively encourage the participation in a diverse range of industry relevant events, welcoming contributions from a wealth of different individuals and organisations. The office therefore plays host to weekly speaking events, regular CPD sessions and Friday Masterclasses as well as a wide range of other events, workshops and screenings to widen our collective knowledge, contribute towards teaching others as well as life-long learning which all helps build a culture of continuous improvement.
