WELCOME BACK! After such a difficult time for us all, it’s a joy to welcome you, our fantastic audience, back to your theatre - we’ve really missed you! Your support over this time has meant a great deal to us as we navigated our way through the pandemic, whether that be through your donations or by keeping your tickets for future bookings or by supporting our online programme of activities and events. Your commitment to us ensured we remained an active part of people’s lives and kept creativity flourishing at a time when we needed it most. Thanks to you and the tremendous support from Government, Hull City Council and the Garfield Weston Foundation, we are able to take our first steps back to what we all hope is a brighter, more optimistic future, and we are thrilled to open our doors to you again after 14 long months with our Homecomings season. Throughout the pandemic, we have had the safety of everyone at the forefront of our minds, and the Hull Truck Theatre staff team have worked tirelessly to ensure your return offers the most up to date safety procedures in line with Government guidance, so please have a look at the information inside this brochure or call the Box Office

if you have any questions or concerns and our team will be happy to help. Our Homecomings season features a wide range of theatre, music and comedy to suit all tastes, including our season of produced work featuring award-winning actors Julie Hesmondhalgh and John Middleton, a beautiful love story by Ian Kershaw, a vital and urgent new work by Daniel Ward performed by the brilliant Gabriel Paul and a locally rooted tale written by Janet Plater. We’ve a special half term treat for children and families with Tortoise and the Hare, special shows from Jack Gleadow, Showstoppers and Seann Walsh giving us some much-needed laughter, we welcome the Bluejays and Hull Jazz Festival showcasing some fantastic music, we hope that this new season brings you all some joyful nights out this summer in the comfort and safety of our beautiful theatre. We can’t wait to welcome you back.
