DESIGN APPROACH My topic is “Plan ahead matters”. The “plan” is actually an abstract concept. I use the combination of letter shapes to create the sense of planning. I created a series of animations, when viewer scrolling the page to the specific location, the composition of typography and graphic shapes will show off and moving around. Also, the highlighted content will pop out while reading the articles. They will enhance the reading experience. This website is typeface dominated, the layout and background are very clean and create the sense of space.

My architecture poster series is about sustainability, I expand this concept through three different angles “environment”, “interspace” and “material”. I use different materials, composition and placement to express the meaning of each theme. All the typefaces made by real paper and wood, cut and craft by hand, then shot with the camera in the real environment.

My topic is about postage stamps. My main design INSTRUCTOR\. Zack Shubkagel YEAR OF COMPLETION\. 2016
purpose is to create the visual system that based on the fonts and graphic elements to convey the characteristics of the postage stamp. I combined multiple typefaces and styles to create the contrast in order to enhance the reading experience. For the E-book version, after considering the user experience for reading on the iPad, I also use the same visual system to create the layout that more comfortable for screen reading.
