a. The Marine World The Marine World, an international fashion coastal cultural block.

In 2021, global mean sea level was 97 millimeters above 1993 levels, making it the highest annual average in the satellite record . In fact, roughly 641 of China's 654 largest cities are affected by regular flooding, especially sprawling megacities on the coast.China has a population of 43 million people spread across dangerous coastal areas.

b. Shekou Fishing Port Pier

c. Nanshan Park Nanshan Park belongs to the low mountain and hilly landform, and the central area buildings can be viewed on the mountain.

The water level of the She Kou reached 34.57 meters, exceeding the warning level of 8.57 meters, which has exceeded the highest recorded water level in history. Dry Temperature (C)

Boat-dwelling Culture

Hazards of Sea Level Rise Boat-dwelling families, water dwellers along the coast of Guangdong, who have been cultivating the sea for generations and do not own property on land. Living in groups is also a major feature of the history of the boat-dwelling family - as each boatdwelling boat is occupied by a family, it is also known as the Lianjia Boat.

Site Analysis

798 is a famous industrial site transformed art district, located in the center of the location has a lot of restaurants to hit the spot, the flow of people.

Mycelium is an elongated filamentous structure in the body of a fungus, similar to the roots of a plant, which assumes the functions of material transportation and absorption. In the field of construction, mycelium can be used to make environmentally friendly, biodegradable building materials that are sustainable and biodegradable.

This is one of the largest art centers in Beijing, where public art exhibitions are often held, attracting many tourists.

The characteristics of the factory building style have become a good place for people to visit and learn about the culture and art of factory buildings.

It is one of the largest art centers in Beijing, with many pavilions that attract many tourists.

With little green space, scarce land resources and heavy pollution, 798 can be seen as a microcosm of urban problems in the post-human era. Therefore, it is suitable as a testing ground to facilitate the construction of urban farms on an urban scale in

The train track area is a famous attraction here and is now a Netflix hit.

There are many factories in 798 with indoor spaces like this suitable for mycelium growth.

the future.

Experiment I : Mycelial Growth Experiment

Experiment II : Mycelial Culture of Different Biomaterials

We cultured six groups of mycelium in nutrients to observe the growth of mycelium, patterns and adaptation conditions. It can be observed from the experiments that the mycelium grows very fast and if mixed with organic materials, it can produce economic benefits very quickly.

In order to explore the conditions that mushrooms require for their growing environment,we compared the growth of mushrooms in five different groups of materials. Through our experiments we conclude that Mycelium grows fastest on xxx and is best suited for post-human era bio-conformity materials.

It was observed that mushroom growth on mixed straw nutrient substrate was fast and suitable for mushroom growth. In addition, straw is resilient and relatively easy to obtain. So, there is a possibility of using it as a biocomposite building material.

Chopped straw holds water better and retains sufficient moisture for mushroom growth. And the straw has a certain toughness, which can be used as an ideal biocomposite building material.

Rye is suitable for mushroom growth because of the gaps between the grains, which provide sufficient oxygen for the growth of mushrooms.

Master Plan

Node Analysis Diagram In our design, the city is primarily divided into several functional zones: the mycelium art zone, the cultivation zone, the gastronomy zone, and the commercial zone. By organically integrating these distinct functional areas, our design aims to create a diverse and sustainable urban environment, catering to residents' various needs, enhancing quality of life, and offering rich experiences in art, nature, cuisine, and commerce.
