Work Sample | Exihibition 2017 CHINA UABB
( Biennale of Urbanism \ Architecture ) City of slippers tries to recreate the Nantou through slippers. Looked from the front, the slippers seem to be disordered but actually follow some rules, which is just like the buildings of Nantou. From the side, you will see long and narrow space representing the space of Nantou Street. It is these twists and turns of the space where the lobby of the city is located. It is also a part of the home of Nantou people. Slippers are the carrier connecting these large and small living rooms. The model will have four peaks, representing the living room, mahjong room, kitchen, baby room from high to low, trying to express the crowd gathered in the streets by different types of slippers and the number. The bottom of the model is covered with salt representing the city of salt in ancient time.
