PIMFA Associate Member, Know Your Funds, ties for Best in Show at Morningstar Investment Conference

Fintech solution and PIMFA Associate Member, Know Your Funds – one of two fintech’s selected by PIMFA WealthTech to present to delegates at the Morningstar Investment Conference last week (1 May 2024) –was named Best in Show alongside fellow fintech Propelle by delegates.

PIMFA WealthTech, selected the Know Your Funds and fellow fintech, Instinct Digital Ltd, to present to wealth management delegates in the early breakfast session at the Morningstar Investment Conference following a competitive ‘Tech Sprint’ . They were among 12 fintechs demonstrating their solutions to around 70 delegates from the wealth management and advice industry. Both Know Your Funds and Instinct Digital Studio gave impressive presentations of their solutions’ capabilities, which are focused on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting, verification and disclosure processes in the sustainable finance sector.

Financial Services Regulation Committee inquiry: Financial Conduct Authority CP24/2 Enforcement Proposals

The Financial Services Regulatory Committee (FSRC) has announced an inquiry into the Financial Conduct Authority’s consultation (CP 24/2): Our Enforcement Guide and publishing enforcement investigations - a new approach.

The FSRC has issued a call for written evidence and intends to invite the FCA to provide oral evidence to the Committee at a later date.

The deadline for responses to the call for evidence is 4 June 2024.

Financial Services Regulation Committee (FSRC) inquiry: Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority secondary objective

The Financial Services Regulation Committee is launching an inquiry into the secondary international competitiveness and growth objective given to the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2023.

The inquiry will examine the progress made on implementing these objectives and the potential impact on financial services, for example, how the regulatory landscape is affecting the UK’s attractiveness to domestic and international investors.

The deadline for written submissions to the inquiry is 11 July 2024.
