The blog can be read here. Financial Conduct Authority– Overseas Funds Regime (gateway to new schemes)

The FCA has provided an update on its webpage relating to the Overseas Funds Regime:

• The FCA confirms the gateway to new schemes will open on 30 September 2024.

• For schemes in the Temporary Marketing Permissions Regime, landing slots will start in October 2024.

• These will be available for operators of stand-alone EEA undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) and the FCA will also issue landing slots to operators of umbrella UCITS (by alphabetical order of the fund operator’s name).

PTM Levy increase - effective 2 December 2024

The Panel of Takeovers and Mergers announced recently that from Monday 2 December 2024, the PTM levy will increase from 100p to 150p per contract, where the total consideration of the trade is greater than £10,000.
