your own decorations to hang on the trees in the Enchanted Forest. Or why not make your own rocket and then launch it! Check out local bands on the Young People’s stage and offer your support for local talent when the finalists from the Dewsbury’s Got Talent take to the stage. Look out for a host of other activities scattered around the

park celebrating the arts, skills and talents from our diverse local communities, including a storytelling garden. The storytelling garden will be run by Satellite Arts, using magic, music and puppets to bring their stories to life. They will also have an interactive washing line where people are encouraged to bring along items of clothing from around the world to

hang up and the Satellite Arts group will sing songs about the different clothing. Sunday 19 July will see people across Britain sitting down to lunch together as part of the Big Lunch, so visitors are encouraged to bring along their own sandwiches and join in the fun!
