One of the most impressive features is the entrance hall with a galleried landing above.’’ Cynthia, who works as a fitness instructor at Huddersfield’s Energie Fitness in New Street, says: “The house is actually quite near the centre of Almondbury, but is really quiet and private. Once you turn down the private drive, it is far removed from the hustle and bustle of the shopping centre. It is also very close to both the local primary and high school, so is ideal for a family.’’ Downstairs the house has an impressive

Cynthia says the house is too big for her now, but says she wants to stay in Almondbury, which she loves for the range of local shops. “Whoever did the original conversion into one property made a really good job of it by building the inner section to tie all the cottages together,’’ she said. “This front garden is a real sun-trap on a nice day and very private.’’ This is a very unusual property, which offers versatile accommodation and some very unique features. Rents up to a new record high PRIVATE rents have reached a new high despite Government efforts to make it easier for people to jump on to the housing ladder. Rents reached new peaks in Yorkshire and the Humber, Wales, London, the South East, the West Midlands, the East Midlands and the North West. Without adequate ventilation or energy input even well built homes can become affected by condensation. “The use of poorly considered or badly installed insulation can also compound the problem. “These issues can all contribute to condensation forming on or within the structure of the building. The vapour condenses when it meets a cold surface and condensation forms.
