You’ll start to see early warning signs such as: •
Circuit breakers trip too often. Sometimes a circuit breaker does trip to protect

Lights flicker or dim. If the problem still exists after you tighten or change the bulb, it may be time to call in a professional to inspect the fixture’s connections or the circuit breaker. • Outlets or switches that are warm to the touch. You may need to replace your outlet.
•
You hear buzzing from outlets or fixtures. Electricity should operate without any attention. If you hear sounds or notice burning smells – let us know.

to keep a kitchen perfectly lit? It depends on your lighting plan. The kitchen is the hub of the household – an increasingly important part of family life and entertaining. Creating a bright variety of options to enhance this pivotal space begins with a multi-layered plan. Home lighting solutions come in an extensive variety of options that can be defined by four main roles: 1. Pantries also call for bright lighting – the better to see what you’ve got. 2. Ambient lighting – The kitchen is a gathering place, after all, and this softer, inviting, indirect lighting gives the room a natural welcoming feel. Recessed lighting in ceilings is one such example. 3. Accent lighting – This attractive touch may be just the thing to highlight a collection of wine glasses in a cabinet. Another option: Consider pendant lights over the island. 2
4. Decorative lighting – These are the lovely parts of your plan, bringing elegance into your environment with, say, a chandelier over the kitchen table. As you begin your plan, focus first on the activities that take place in your kitchen and how lighting will improve look, feel and functionality. Cracker Candy
It’s one of the most deliciously
easy treats to make on a fall afternoon. It only requires a few very basic ingredients. And folks love it. In other words, you can’t go wrong if you offer friends and family this sweet snack. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil, spray with cooking spray, then cover with saltine crackers fresh from the sleeve. In a saucepan, bring 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 cup (2 sticks) of
butter to a frothy boil – about three minutes. Then pour the thickened mixture over the crackers. Bake at 350 degrees for about 5 minutes or so. Remove the bubbly delight from the oven and sprinkle with milk chocolate chips. Wait a few minutes, then spread chocolate with spatula. Adding nuts, such as chopped pecans, is optional. Refrigerate until it firms (about an hour), then break into pieces, like peanut brittle.
