elcome to the summer 2019 edition of Hudson Reporter Family, our guide to services, resources, and all things family in Bayonne, Hoboken, Jersey City, and beyond. With summer around the corner, it’s time to explore ways that kids can enjoy outdoor activities and other fun things during the warmer months. Parents, this guide is designed to make your job easier. You’ve got plenty to do without having to, for instance, track down every tennis facility that offers kids’ lessons or every nature program for kids who love frogs and fish. Our goal is to provide you with a fun, useful guide that’s easy to navigate.

Right in your backyard Residents of Bayonne, Hoboken and Jersey City have easy access to unmatched urban resources right in our backyard. In summer there are an array of parks with pools, some with beautiful views of the waterfront. Parks offer athletic fields and facilities, playgrounds, band shells, and barbecue areas, where picnics, concerts, festivals, and field days are summer features. Just because school’s out doesn’t mean that kids won’t have a chance to learn. Classes include art, music, and theater, as well as coaching and instruction in just about every outdoor sport. See Family page 3

A Place Where Children Thrive Rapha Wellness Center provides compassionate and specialized pediatric physical, occupational, speech and sensory integration therapy for children of all ages. Our pediatric therapists help your child recover, improve overall coordination and learn to feel more secure, comfortable and focused in different environments. At our first appointment, we work with you to set goals and develop a plan that will maximize your child’s potential. We continuously assess progress and adjust the program as needed.
