My name is Juan Carlos Rivera, I was born in Alcalá de Guadaíra, Sevilla, Spain.

I love and practice Photography since I was a teen, lot of years ago. My favourite photo genre is the portrait, both in color and in monochrome. I have a small studio that allows me to work with different sets of lighting, but I like very much to take pics on location, too.

I have been a classical professional musician until I retired four years ago. This circumstance gives me the opportunity to pass more and more time with the Photography.

I edit with Adobe Camera Raw and use Photoshop mainly to retouch models skin, but always trying to give it a natural appearance.

I use a full frame reflex camera with lenses from wide-angle to tele, but currently I use a 50mm and a 85mm. In studio I work with flashes and natural light too.
