Jonathan and Elaine Lee in memory of David Lee 1962 - 2021

Jonathan and Elaine would like to thank HUFC for being so welcoming to Jonathan’s brother David at Sam Adams’ testimonial match in 2021. David was an avid Spurs fan and a resident at Hastings Court Care Home.

He was delighted when one of his carers, Dan, said he would bring him along to watch HUFC versus his beloved Spurs. As you can see from the pictures, he thoroughly enjoyed himself. David loved the shirt he received which was signed by the U’s players.

Today is Jonathan’s birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JONATHAN!

Jonathan loves coming to the Pilot Field when he is not watching his other team, Hull City. Now he is a HUFC season ticket holder, which invariably means all other events need to be planned around the U’s matches!

Elaine’s dad, Donald Cornwall, was a big fan of HUFC from the 1950’s and would attend every home game. Elaine’s mum told her that they actually had to move their wedding day so that a match would not be missed!. Elaine was 3 months old when she was taken to her first match and apparently screamed all of the way through! Elaine came to matches with her Dad all through her childhood.

Elaine continued the tradition, and brought along her children Colin and Claire to the Pilot Field. On Saturday, Colin was delighted be be a mascot for a game. The family would view the match from the bank side of the ground.
