We first became a Business Partner of Hastings United back in 2013 with our medieval guest house Minstrel's Rest. A five bedroom four star guest house based in Ore village, that was kitted out with suits of armour, banqueting tables and array of medieval weaponry. It was a very successful business for us but after fifteen years it finally closed its doors to guests in March of this year.

We had always planned to open a business for our two children Alex & Kaigleigh when the opportunity arose, and when Covid arrived and lockdowns were forced upon us, this gave us the perfect opportunity.

For various reasons Alex & Kaigleigh had to move back home, and with plenty of time on our hands, a plan was hatched and The Painted Maiden was born. We sourced a small unit in the heart of Hastings town centre and set to work.

We opened in July 2020 and gradually started to build our reputation. Needless to say we grew from strength to strength, and in March of this year, we took over the lease on the large premises alongside us, which used to be the hairdressers. We now have a fabulous new Studio in Harold Place and would love to see you all come down and see us.

We offer Tattooing & Body Piercing, and on the beauty side, Microblading, Laser Tattoo Removal, Semi-permanent Eyeliner and Lip Blush, Nails, Lashes, Facials and much more. We are a family run business with a real passion for what we do.

During our time as Business Partners we have seen some dark and very cold times, sitting in the stand with a crowd of just over 100 people. But there has been a dramatic transformation in recent years thanks to Billy Wood and his team. Crowds in their thousands rather than hundreds, some quality players emerging from the academy and being brought in, all culminating with that fantastic promotion last season. We are delighted to be a part, even in our small way as a Business Partner and we're looking forward to see where we can go from here. Come on the U's.

So last week I celebrated three years at this football club, where has the time gone!? In all seriousness being in charge of my hometown club and trying to do what we do is one of the toughest but rewarding challenges I’ve ever taken on. There’s been some lows but the incredible highs and the knowing everything you’re trying to do is for the betterment of the club and the town makes those low moments insignificant. I’m so proud to see so many claret tops around the town and the influx of youth football in both boys and girls means the world to me. Three years in, how many more? I really don’t know but I always said I’ll only stay and serve the town’s club for as long as you the supporters want me to. Thank you for making me so welcome over the last three years. Remember this is your club and I’ll protect it with my life.

Another weekend of no football meant more family time for me but it’s ever so strange not being at the football on Saturdays, especially in September. Let’s hope we don’t have too many more of those as I’m sure the fixtures will pile up fast.

Sadly I missed Wednesday night’s game away at Cray Wanderers, a game I was thoroughly looking forward to travelling when we got promoted, however glued to my phone and checking every move I was delighted to see us come away with another 3 points after a very well drilled performance from the team. That makes us unbeaten in four games in the league now and hitting some decent form (top five in the form guide) which goes to show you it’s taken us a bit of adapting however the lads have shown in the first eight games we can certainly compete at this level.

The numbers and noise travelling away is something to be proud of especially in midweek games, I was told once again how vocal and prominent we was Wednesday night.

So we move on to today’s opponents. A mixed bag of results so far from them but a dangerous opponent at this level, so we have to continue to be at our best to keep this run going.

Afternoon and welcome to The Continental Pilot Field for today’s fixture against Carshalton Athletic.

Carshalton have been a mainstay in this division for seasons gone by now and they will be a good test for us to see how far we’ve come. In Steve McKimm and Barry Moore they’ve got one of the best management teams in non-league. Vastly experienced and people I look up to. What they’ve achieved is great, and today will be tough.

We’re going into the game in fantastic form, but we must stay grounded and the hard work has to continue.

Get behind the lads today, and a quick special mention to the fans that travelled to the Cray game, we really appreciate it.

CRAY AWAY DAY

Hummed and hah-ed about going but it wasn't to be - up since O'Jeez o'clock for a 12 hour shift blah blah - followed proceedings online. Footballwebpages and Twitter to the rescue.

1-0! That away goal famine ended withappropriately - Ben Pope getting his first of the season. Due to a harsh 10pm deadline imposed by Editor Hoggard I wasn't able to find out very much about the game but three points will more than do. And up 6 places!

No Joe Gbode though. Neil Harris the Gillingham boss had plenty to say about him in the Kent media and with the Gills having injury issues up front , I assumed Joe's absence was him being called back to his home club? We will all know today when Carshalton Athletic visit The Pilot Field.

MOVING ON

Kai Brown has signed for Whitehawk. His United career was short-lived, eh. And another interesting signing by the Hawks is the man of many clubs - Andrew Sesay!

Whitehawk have certainly made a decent start following a pretty abysmal 2021-22 when what has always been a decent Isthmian SE side looked for a while that they might get dragged into the relegation play-offs. They misfired all season.

We all have other sides that we - hmmmm - that we 'don't mind' and I don't mind them. Hopefully they will feature in issues at the opposite end of the table this time around. One of the better followed SE sides with plenty of vociferous support. Both our games last season were noisy affairs.

WELL DONE DAVID BECKHAM

No queue jumping, 2.15 am and Beckham joined the 13 hour line up as thousands took their turn to pay respect to Queen Elizabeth II. That was a humble gesture from someone who could easily have avoided all the lead up. Some other 'celebrities' might want to take note.

A colleague at work - Mansfield follower who gets around local football when his primary team's game is not accessible - lent me a copy of '39 Days of Gazza'. A semi-pro football account of a pretty disastrous dabble in football management by Paul Gascoigne at Kettering Town way back in 2005. Much like Brian Clough and his 44 days at Leeds United. Kettering's owner and Gascoigne had all kinds of plans to get into the Football League - this not so long after Hastings Town supporters were being regaled with all manner of big promises by a new owner. Yea, you long timers will all be suffering from rolling eye syndrome as you recall those times. Well, Kettering followers went through it too.

Anyway, Mick, my Mansfield following mate, joined me on the excellent terraces at the Dripping Pan for our recent Sussex derby away to Lewes. He liked what he saw and will be checking out the Pilot Field in due course.

ANOTHER SEMI-PRO CONVERT

I work with a bunch of railway mates who follow various clubs and inevitably am subject to 'Hastings Who?' comments. I've been fighting the semi-pro corner nearly 45 years now and it's always good to see someone get into their local side.

Trevor is a West Ham season ticket holder who has recently gotten into Littlehampton who had a season to remember last year and are now making a decent fist of life in Isthmian SE. Not such a good day recently at Haywards Heath where they lost 2-0 to probably the best organised side we played last season. Cray Valley played the best football but Haywards Heath were the best organised.

They still print a programme and a very respectable one it is too.

FA CUP TURNOVERS

Wasn't just us that got drubbed by lower league opposition then. National South Tonbridge got hammered 4-0 at Isthmian South Central Binfield - a two league gap there. And just as big a surprise - Lewes scrambled a 1-1 draw with Isthmian SE Three Bridges on Saturday and also got mullahed 4-0, in the replay at Jubilee Field on Tuesday night. 3 Bridges play in the shadow of EFL2 Crawley - 200 is an exceptional gate there. So 374 for the replay was tremendous with a juicy 3rd Qualifying Round tie at home to Hereford to come. Lewes, incidentally, put out much the same side for the replay as the one the U's took on last month.

Urchins ruin Bay's party!

Herne Bay fans have waited all summer to see the opening of their new pitch, and last Tuesday their patience was rewardedbefore visitors Hornchurch made a fabulous job of ruining their party. The Urchins had won their four previous matches prior to travelling to Kent, and scored thirteen goals in the process - and now those totals are five and nineteen, as they hit SIX goals without reply to go top of the Pitching In Isthmian Premier table.

Nathan Bertram-Cooper got them underway after 16 minutes, and 8 minutes later Sam Higgins continued his fine form with his eighth of the season. Liam Nash then added two more, shortly before and shortly after the break - taking his tally for the campaign up to six - before Tom Wraight added the fifth just after the hour. Right at the end Lewwis Spence hammered in the final nail, and Bay sink to the bottom.

Potters Bar Town manager Sammy Moore was looking for a reaction after his side were beaten by Essex Senior League Romford at the weekend - and he got one against Brightlingsea Regent as his side went second. Dejon Noel-Williams was the chief architect of their success with goals just before the break and just after the hour, and although Sam Jeremiah got one back for the visitors Mohammed Kamara made sure of a home victory with a third, three minutes from time.

Horsham started the day in second place but ended it fourth, a point behind Aveley, after being held by draw specialists Wingate & Finchley. An own goal gave the Blues an

early lead, but the Hornets were level soon afterwards, Daniel Ajakaiye getting his sixth of the season. The visitors then went ahead, Jack Mazzone adding his seventh of the campaign, but they weren’t ahead for long. Dernell Wynter equalising for the hosts. Wingate still search for a first win, having drawn five of their seven matches.

Bishop’s Stortford are up to fifth, a goal in each half defeating Bowers & Pitsea. Jonathan Giles got them underway nine minutes before the break, and on sixty seven minutes Frankie Merrifield added a second. There was no way back for the visitors, and Stortford even had the luxury of missing a penalty.

Billericay Town climbed out of the bottom four, taking their cup form into the league and defeating Haringey Borough three-nil on White Hart Lane. Chris Dickson put the Blues ahead after just four minutes, and eleven minutes after half time Brad Stevenson doubled their advantage, scoring for the third game in succession. Borough hit the post, before Alfie Cerulli ended any hopes of a home comeback with a thirdhis seventh of the campaign - ten minutes from time, finding the top corner.

Enfield Town and Canvey Island failed to manage a goal between them on Donkey Lane.

In the Emirates FA Cup, Three Bridges hosted Lewes in a replay, after the two drew one-one at the Dripping Pan on Saturday. The Rooks were lucky to get out of that one without a humbling defeat, and they were certainly humbled in the replay, Bridges firing home four goals without reply. Camron Lawson got the first two, on thirty seven and fifty three minutes, Kieron Pamment made it three on the hour, and six minutes later Kevin Rivera made it four, the shellshocked Rooks departing the competition with barely a whimper.

Formed: 1905 (As Mill Lane Mission)

The Robins

Carshalton Athletic traces its roots to two separate teams playing in the area of Wrythe Green in Carshalton in the early twentieth century. Whilst the club's history is dated to the formation of Mill Lane Mission in 1905 it also recognises the importance of officials, players and supporters of Carshalton St Andrews in its history.

In 2000, with the club in severe financial difficulties, the ownership changed hands twice, Manager, Gary Bowyer was dismissed, the clubhouse was destroyed in an arson attack, and the ground's landlords, Sutton Council, threatened the club with eviction for breaching their lease. At the end of that season, Carshalton were relegated to Division One. Two years later, Graham Roberts led them to the Division One South title, to gain promotion to the Premier Division. The following season, they finished seventh, thus qualifying for the new Conference South.

Conference South

After a £12 million plan to rebuild the ground fell through, chairman Steve Friend resigned, followed by manager Billy Smith. Under Jimmy Bolton, Carshalton retained their place in the Conference South in 2004–05.

In 2005–06, the club's centenary season, the Club was relegated back to the Isthmian League.

Isthmian League 2006–onwards

The new millenium did little to help the club's financial problems. Like many clubs at the time Carshalton Athletic found it difficult to pay its bills and was severely overstretched by a hefty playing budget.

The previous season's relegation was a blow, but the Club was not new to hard times - over the previous two decades the club had been on the edge of bankrupcy numerous times, seeing five different owners and a long line of chairman. In 2008 the club was technically insolvent. Despite having some sucess in stabilising Carshalton Athletic, the then current owners could not see a way through its financial difficulties without change, there were large tax bills that the club could not pay.

Local businessman Paul Dipre purchased the club in 2008, paid off substantial tax bills and set out a ten year plan to develop the club into a community hub. Dipre promised to rejuvenate the club from the bottom up.

Carshalton finished mid table in 2006–07 but the following season 2007–08 saw disappointing early results and as a result the manager Dave Garland left the club in October 2007. The appointment of Hayden Bird was one of the last acts of the previous owners.

Hayden made some high profile signings and there was a noticeable commitment to playing attractive, passing football but the Robins still faced another nail-biting fight for survival in the Isthmian League Premier Division. Paul Dipre injected sufficient funds to strengthen the squad in an effort to avoid relegation. It went right to the wire and, miraculously, last day results elsewhere fell perfectly and Carshalton's home win over Tonbridge Angels was enough to secure their status.

The season 2008–09 was the first full season under new ownership. The reserves and junior sections were axed in favour of a new academy and junior section. The club began a long-term investment program to renew its crumbling facilities. Directors and staff were axed in favour of a new management team.

The first year under Dipre was one of the club's most successful. On the pitch, aided with 31 goals from Richard Jolly, The Robins finished in 4th place, setting up a play-off semi-final with Tonbridge Angels. Athletic claimed a thrilling 3-2 win to meet Staines Town in the final. Held at Staines's Wheatsheaf Park Ground, Carshalton more than held their own against Staines, who had finished 2nd in the regular season. Sadly for The Robins, an 85th-minute penalty was saved by Staines 'keeper Louis Wells, and Scott Taylor scored an extra-time winner for Staines.

At the end of this season the club decided to revert to its original colours of Red and also modernised its badge.

The change was supported by the majority of fans who saw the colour change as one that reflected the club's early

heritage, but a small group of fans (largely led by the club officials ousted by Dipre) lobied against the change strongly.

On 1 September 2009, manager Hayden Bird resigned as the club's first team manager; Ian Hazel was placed in caretaker charge. On 10 September the club announced the appointment of former Carshalton player Francis Vines as Bird's permanent replacement.

Shortly before the 2010–11 season Mark Butler was placed in charge of the club. After a promising first half of the season, Butlers results went from bad to worse until finally the owner Paul Dipre too the reigns. The team finished 13th.

The 2011–12 season was a rollercoaster for the first team. Dipre's first season as manager ended in 16th position. Despite the inconsistent league form there was much to celebrate in the FA Trophy with one of the most Historic results in the club's history when they beat Lincoln City 3–1 at Colston Avenue, Paul Vines scoring a hat-trick. At the beginning of the following season Dipre removed himself from the manager's position and coach Tommy Williams, also a former player of the club, took the reins and officially took the job in October 2012.

Carshalton Athletic was bestowed with three community club awards throughout 2012 – the South East Regional Community Club of the Year, the Surrey FA Community Club of the Year and the FA National Community Club of the Year, the latter awarded to chairman Frank Williams and youth development officer Paul Williams by ex-professional footballers Chris Kamara and Martin Keown, plus TV presenter Ben Shepherd.

In the following year the club won the UEFA silver award for the bext grassroots club in Europe, one of the greatest accolades in the club's history.

In Tommy Williams first season as manager, Carshalton finished 21st in the Isthmian Premier in 2012-13, which ordinarily would have seen them relegated. However, a points deduction and consequent relegation for Thurrock gave them a reprieve, keeping them in the Isthmian Premier for the 2013-14 season.

In the following season Carshalton Athletic were relegated to the Ryman South under Stuart Massey.

In 2015 the club decided to apply for planning permission to install a 3G pitch. The application was supported by almost everyone at Carshalton Athletic. The 3G was intended to provide facilities for the 500 or so junior players and other local clubs. It would secure the club's future. The club applied for planning. The original planning application was recommended by the council for approval, but rejected by councillors in January 2014. The club appealed, and won in January 2015.

The 3G was installed in the Summer of 2015. The entire Ground was also refurbished between May 2016 - August 2017. Colston Avenue has become a busy sports and community hub seven days a week serving teams, clubs and community organisations.

The 2015/16 was a reasonable year for the first team finishing a respectable 10th place in Ryman South. Managers Matt Howard and Chris McGinn each had good spells on the pitch. Fans favourite Tommy Bradford won the players of the year award with 24 goals and performances improved as the season went on. By the end of the season and following a number of unsucessful appointments over recent years, the club decided on a new approach to the 1st team management structure. That new structure was implemented in April 2016 when Peter Adeniyi, Ted Dale and Mike Gilham were appointed as Manager, Head Coach and Coach respectively.

Peter Adeniyi's first season, 2016/17, was a good one. Peter further improved the teams style of play and pushed the youth policy with renewed vigour. Ex- player Stuart Searle joined Peter's team as coach in replacement of Mike Gilham who had moved into an Academy role at Fulham. The club was in the playoff places for much of the season but not at the time when it counted and finished one place short of a valuable playoff position. Nevertheless The Robins had made clear their ambitions on the pitch and Peter Adeniyi agreed to stay on for the season 2017/18.

Peter Adeniyi's second season started with some important new signings. Billy Bishop took the number 1 shirt, Raheem Sterling Parker joined from Chipstead and Jordan Cheadle from Walton casuals. At Christmas Keith Boanas joined the Robins in the role of head Coach. In January, academy graduate and Top goalscorer Mickel Miller transferred to Scottish Premiership side Hamilton Academical for an undisclosed fee. The Robins won the Isthmian South League and were promoted to the Isthmian Premier.

In 2018/19 The Robins made a comfortable start in the Isthmian Premier league. There were very few team changes from the previous season, but one important signing was that of Harry Ottaway, who joined in January 2019.

The team enjoyed a long winning run in the second half of the season to finish runners up in the Isthmian Premier league, but lost their first playoff game against Merstham FC. In 2019 the club launched its Football Academy Programme - a combined education and football development program for 16-18 year olds.

The 2019/20 season Club Chairman Paul Dipre announced the clubs ambitions to reach the National League by 2025. "The last ten years have put the club is in a very good place organisationally, financially and structurally, its time to push on with our first team ambitions" Unfortunately, in March 2020, with Carshalton comfortably placed in the playoff positions, the league was curtailed by the COVID pandemic.

2020/21 After the disappointment of the previous season's curtailment due to COVID, First Team manager Peter Adeniyi once again was set the task of promotion. However, COVID was to ruin the teams success on the pitch once again. For the second year in succession, with Carshalton comfortably seated in the playoff positions, the league was stopped by the COVID pandemic.

STEVE McKIMM - MANAGER

Steve took over at Carshalton Athletic ahead of the 2022/23 season, having spent eight successful years in charge at Tonbridge Angels. He guided the Angels to a Bostik (Ryman) Premier play-off semi-final spot in 2015/16 and promotion to the National League South via the Isthmian Premier play-offs in 2018/19. Prior to that Steve had been Head Coach under Paul Doswell for two years at Sutton United. As a player, central midfielder Steve represented Hayes, Kingstonian, Ebbsfleet United and Sutton United.

BARRY MOORE - ASSISTANT MANAGER

Barry made the move across to Carshalton with Steve McKimm in May 2022, having worked together at Tonbridge Angels for eight years. Barry was First Team Coach at both Bromley and Merstham and played at National League level with Woking and Hayes.

As far as Athletic are concerned, our first meeting was their visit here on Saturday, 15th February, 1947 in our first season in the Corinthian League and we played them for two seasons before we were forced to resign due to the loss of a suitable ground when the Pilot Field was taken over by the newly formed original Hastings United Football Club. The inaugural match was drawn 1-1, Alfie Hodd scoring for us and Bob Lloyd for Athletic; we won the return game played in May 4-1 while the following season we each won our respective home games, at Hastings 2-0 and at Carshalton 5-0.

As a consequence of losing use of the Pilot Field, we then did not play each other again for over forty-six years and there was a gap of almost sixty years between league encounters. In season 1994 we were drawn together in the third qualifying round of the F.A. Cup and after a 2-2 draw here, we won the away replay 2-1. Ten years later we were again paired together but at the second qualifying round stage when we won 3-1 away.

Began his career in Millwall’s Youth Academy where he spent 9 years before joining Dartford in 2013. After spell out on loan and playing for Fisher and Maldon & Tiptree in 2015 Femi signed a professional contract with Colchester Utd. Released in 2017 spells with other clubs include Concord Rangers, Haringey Borough, Braintree Town and Billericay Town. Femi made 11 appearances for League Two Stevenage during the first half of 2020-21. Femi signed for the Robins from

IFFY ALLEN Forward (26)

Winger who joined the Robins in the off season from Hampton and Richmond Borough after appearances for Lewes earlier in the 2021/22 season. Iffy’s higher league experience includes making his debut for Barnet in the FA Cup alongside Dutch legend, Edgar Davids. Has also played for Yeovil, Torquay United, Aldershot Town, Wrexham, Bromley, Maidstone United and Ebbsfleet United.

TOM BEERE Midfielder (27)

Joined the Robins from Tonbridge Angels in June 2022. Started his career with AFC Wimbledon, for whom he made around 30 first team appearances, winners in the 2014 London Senior Cup Final and in the home leg of the 2016 League Two Playoff Finals. Twice promoted from Step 3 to Step 2, first with Hampton and Richmond Borough and then with Tonbridge and says he is looking to add a third with Carshalton. Supports Arsenal.

VENCE BOLA Forward (28)

Vance joined in the off-season after being a regular for Margate in 2021/22, scoring 15 goals and helping them to the final of the Velocity Trophy. Started his career with Crystal Palace before moving on to Bristol City, Enfield Town, Harrow Borough, Wealdstone and Royston. Supports: Arsenal.

OLLIE COOK Defender (25)

Joined Carshalton at the beginning of the season from Kingstonian. Previously with Merstham having begun his career with Fulham and Southampton Academy/ U23s.

CALVIN EKPITETA

Midfielder (27)

Joined in July 2022. Midfielder Calvin is another familiar face to Carshalton fans, having turned out for Kingstonian and Potters Bar (for whom he opened the scoring at Colston Avenue) during the 2021/22 season. After a youth career which included playing against Chelsea in the 3rd round of the FA Youth Cup, his non-league travels have also taken him to Grays Athletic, Bishops Stortford, East Thurrock United, Merstham, Concord Rangers and Margate.

LEO HAMBLIN

Full Back (19)

Leo moved across from Woking in the summer. Was voted 1st year Academy Player of the Year while there and went on to make 10 National League appearances, including one live on BT Sport against Sutton United. Has also had loan spells at Farnborough, Hartley Wintney and Hampton and Richmond Borough. A single figure handicap golfer. Supports Tottenham.

Signed during the summer of 22. Crossley came through the youth ranks at Sutton United, with a highlight being a last-minute header that took the club through to the first-round proper of the FA Youth Cup. Started the 2021/22 season with Leatherhead before joining Margate, where his performances earned him several fan nominations for the Isthmian League Premier Division team of the year. Speaks three languages. Supports Arsenal.

WALTER FIGUEIRA

Forward (27)

Known to Robins fans as a thorn in their side when scoring prolifically for Merstham in the 2018/19 season.. After winning the FA Youth Cup with Chelsea, he made his professional debut in the Greek Super League with FC Platanias. Having recently been playing in the League of Ireland, he finished the 2021/22 season at Kingstonian where he scored three goals. Supports Chelsea.

ARTHUR LEE (CAPTAIN)

Joined in June 22. Arthur has twice reached the Playoff Final, firstly as captain of Hendon in 2017/18 when they lost on penalties to Dulwich Hamlet and then as part of the Tonbridge Angels side that won promotion under Steve McKimm in 2018/19. Has also played for Hornchurch.

Full Back (22)

Joined Carshalton in the off-season after a brief spell with Brightlingsea Regent towards the end of the 2021/22 season. Sam made his name at Aveley where he was voted Young Player of the Year and helped the club to the quarter-final of the 2019/20 FA Trophy. Has also played for Bishops Stortford and Welling United. Describes himself as a fan of fashion and the NBA. Supports Chelsea.

Another product of the Sutton United academy where he was voted Young Player of the Season in 2019 and earned a National League winner’s medal in 2021. Bradley also had loan spells with Farnborough and Hampton and Richmond Borough during his time with the U’s and spent the 2021/22 season with Welling United. Played rugby until he was 13. Supports Chelsea.

Midfielder (27)

Joined in July 2022. Well known to Robins’ fans for his influential role in midfield for first Merstham and then Kingstonian, who he led to the final of the Surrey Senior Cup in the 2021/22 season. Gus was with Crystal Palace from the age of 10 to 22 after which he moved into non-league with St Albans City and Dulwich Hamlet, before joining Lewes and helping them gain promotion to the Isthmian League Premier Division. Represented England Schools at under 16 level. Born in Liberia and moved to UK when he was eight. Supports Arsenal.

BRADLEY WILLIAMS

Midfielder (22)

Became a fixture in the Robins team in 2021/22, initially in midfield from where he claimed his first goal for the club at Horsham but spent much of the season filling in at centre-back. Brad started out in the Crystal Palace and Bromley academies before moving into non-league with Sutton Common Rovers and Saltdean United. From a family of four brothers and three sisters.

Aaron came through the Woking academy and plays in midfield or as a striker. After a successful spell at Burgess Hill Town, he moved to Tonbridge Angels where he spent the 21-22 season. Signed for Carshalton in June 2022. Cousin of West Ham United’s Michail Antonio. Supports Arsenal.

TOMMY BRADFORD – Forward (27)

Carshalton Athletic stalwart, having joined the club in 2011 and graduated from the club’s academy. In over 300 appearances for the club, midfielder/striker Tommy has scored more than 150 goals and was part of the team that won the Isthmian League South title in 2017/18.

Just 2,081 turn up for the Wimbledon v Peterborough League Cup tie at Selhurst Park, the lowest ever home attendance for a top-division club in the competition. Posh won 2-1.
