Portfolio of photography in Tibet in 2014
In Tibet, I did not intentionally take pictures of the plateau and snow mountains that are familiar to people. Instead, I chose to catch some small parts that seemed to be insignificant, in order to show what Tibet was like in my eyes. The sacred Potala Palace usually presents a clearly lofty look, but I took the Palace in the night from a distant angle of view. Not clearly visible with darkness around as it was, it gave out light, within sight but beyond reach. I took another picture when a scene of people standing on the lakeshore of Lake Namsto appeared in front of my eyes, where their inverted reflections in lake and their standing images in reality divided by the lakeshore seemingly formed a scene of people in two worlds. There is a picture about a cloud I saw in Tibet because it was very much like a map of China. It gracefully dances under the sunshine in the blue sky. I call it Auspicious Clouds of China.

Portfolio of photography in Britain in 2011
Overlooking the full view of London on the London Eye, I captured the Big Ben and different kinds of architecture, streets, and double-deckers unique in Britain. With different elements included in one picture, it presents a corner of London, which is also an epitome of the city. With no need to include everything, I only need to contain information fewer but better, which is an expression of art. I would like to talk about another picture taken in Oxford. There are colleges, universities, students, and passengers everywhere. The moment when the bus I took was driving through the crossroad, I captured three students waiting for the green light. Seeing their different sexes, skin colors, dressing styles, and heights, I was immediately aware of the inclusiveness of Britain. Stratford, the hometown of Shakespeare, is a peaceful small town with lingering charm. The white swans and other water birds, on the water surface, got along with people in harmony. People in small groups on the river banks were happy and pleased with themselves, enjoying the fresh air and green trees surrounding both sides. Such environment perhaps served as one reason why the world-class literary giant was conceived here.
