St. Luke’s Urology Associates is under the direction of Barry Bodie, MD, FACS. St. Luke’s Urology Associates treats male and female patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric. The clinic treats urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, and issues with kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra, and the male reproductive tract and prostate. Kidney stone management and treatment are also part of Dr. Bodie’s areas of expertise.

YMCA Community Health Programs

The Y is dedicated to improving the community’s well-being through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Membership includes access to hundreds of group exercise classes, plus personalized coaching to help people reach their goals. The Y also offers programs for diabetes management and education, diabetes prevention (English/Spanish), cancer survivorship, falls prevention, arthritis management, and adult adaptive wellness recovery. In addition, the Y distributes free, fresh produce to the public at mobile markets in Buncombe, Henderson, Haywood, Madison, and McDowell counties; runs federally funded child nutrition programs at afterschool sites and day camps; and offers free healthy meals across our community. Volunteer opportunities are available. Eight convenient locations in Asheville, Arden/Fletcher, Black Mountain, Enka/ Candler, Hendersonville, Marion, and Woodfin, along with virtual class options.
