NGO AND YOUTH WORK Community educators are specialists in community- and activity-based methods in workplace communities. Students can specialize in either youth work or NGO work.

Learning the theory and practice of Adventure Education in authentic learning environments
ADVENTURE EDUCATION Our popular Erasmus-studies are designed for students who would like to study experiential education and adventure activities. The course starts from the novice level of skills instruction in hiking, climbing and kayaking.

EXPERTISE IN NGO AND YOUTH WORK This Erasmus Exchange module is designed for students of youth, community, NGO or social work. The contents are also suitable for students studying education. The module is suitable for second and third year students. The module includes topics such as participatory pedagogy, promotion of agency and welfare services.
CULTURAL MANAGEMENT
Students of Cultural Management will become professional producers and managers. Their cultural expertise will serve the private, public as well as the third sector.

Throughout their studies, our students work and study in real-life projects. They build networks that will help them once they enter the world of work for real.
CULTURAL MANAGEMENT: COURSES IN ENGLISH We offer Erasmus Exchange Studies in Cultural Management in English. The Erasmus-studies focus on arts and finance and include both theoretical and practical studies.
INTERPRETER Interpreters are experts on linguistic accessibility and human interaction. An interpreter’s work is varied, versatile and ever-changing. Each interaction situation is different and the interpreter’s role changes accordingly.

INTERPRETER The training programme does not offer courses in English, but international students are welcome to join the Finnish Sign Language classes. Both in Helsinki and Kuopio have received international exchange students. So far, the experiences have been good!
