You will most likely be given an ultrasound. This is to determine how far along you are, determine what procedure to use, and how much to charge you for the abortion.

During the ultrasound ask to have the screen turned toward you. The movement/vibration you see on the screen is your baby’s heartbeat. Free ultrasounds may be available in your area. See page 2
