FEDERAL CLUB AND FEDERAL CLUB COUNCIL INVESTING IN LGBTQ EQUALITY

Welcome to the Greater Cincinnati Dinner! Think about why you’re here. Are you here on a corporate ticket? Do you have a friend on the Gala or Steering Committee? Have you been involved for years or is this your first HRC event? Whatever the reason, we’re glad you’re here -- with us -- because our work is so important and there’s never been a more urgent time to step up.

The Federal Club is a very important, long-term giving program that starts at a minimum of $100 a month. If you are not a Federal Club member, we are asking you to become a member now! By joining the Federal Club, you are joining the ranks of LGBTQ equality leaders as a driving force at the heart of our movement.

If you can afford a larger investment in this work, we encourage you to consider becoming a Federal Club Council member. The Federal Club Council is comprised of donors making annual gifts starting at $5,000. Federal Club Council members (also known as HRC’s major donors) have the option of designating their gifts to the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. As the HRC Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity, gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Your investment in equality could not come at a more critical time in our fight for full equality for everyone, everywhere. Radical anti-LGBTQ forces in the White House, Congress and in state houses across the country are determined to undo the progress we’ve made.

At the federal and state level, your support will help to fight multiple efforts to legalize discrimination against our community. Some of these efforts seek to not only legalize discrimination, but also to force states to embrace harmful “conversion therapy”; to invalidate local non-discrimination ordinances that protect LGBTQ people; and to punish transgender people for simply using the restroom.
