Columbus Museum of Art COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD

The Columbus Museum of Art is a leader in Columbus and nationally in its support and empowerment of the LGBTQ+ community. CMA launched its Loud & Proud membership program in 2019, providing a way for the LGBTQ+ community to connect with the arts in Columbus. A year later, it co-created the national exhibit Art After Stonewall, 1969-1989, to focus on openly LGBTQ+ artists. The museum has ardently supported the LGBTQ+ community in Columbus through gifts and vocal support.
