HIGHLIGHT YOUR HEART Hunt Regional hosted the Highlight Your Heart event for community members and area medical staff celebrating one year of operations in the cardiac catheterization lab. In its first year, 775 procedures were performed, 115 coronary interventions took place, and 35 life-threatening heart attacks were treated. OPEN IMAGING Hunt Regional Open Imaging in Rockwall now offers liver elastography ultrasound. Liver disease is a leading cause of death among adults ages 25 to 64 and elastography ultrasound is a non-invasive way of identifying liver disease.
HOLIDAY FOOD Thanks to generous donations by Hunt Regional staff, we were able to donate over 400 boxes worth of food to families in need.

FOUNDATION EVENTS •
The Hunt Regional Healthcare Foundation hosted the 13th Annual Music is the Best Medicine Foundation Gala at Innovation First International, raising $98,000.

The first Spooktacular Glow 5K and Monster Mile—hosted in partnership with the City of Greenville—was a community success with over 100 runners. At the event, Hunt Regional Medical Partners providers took part in a kid-friendly Teddy Bear Clinic.
Bras for the Cause • Bras for the Cause celebrated a
decade of raising money for local cancer patients with its 10th annual event. A record-breaking $174,252 was raised. • B4TC also hosted its second Table
Talk event, featuring a panel of survivors and experts on breast cancer.
4D CT Thanks to an ongoing B4TC commitment, HRMC celebrated the installation of the new 4D CT scanner in the Lou and Jack Finney Cancer Center. The technology makes radiation treatment faster and easier on patients while allowing for greater preservation of healthy tissue.
Accolades
PRACTITIONER OF THE YEAR The Texas Society for Respiratory Care (TSRC) named Amber Maynard, BSRC, RRT-NPS-ACCS, RCS, its Practitioner of the Year-Management for 2018. Maynard is the director of cardiopulmonary for Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville.

MATERNITY CENTER RECOGNITION TDSHS PROGRAM
The Texas Department of State Health Services recognized the Truett and Margaret Crim Maternity Center at Hunt Regional Medical Center for its participation in the Texas Perinatal Hepatitis B Prevention Program. A certificate was presented in honor of the hospital’s commitment to administering the hepatitis B vaccine at birth.
WOUND CARE EXCELLENCE Our Wound Care Center received awards for clinical excellence and customer satisfaction. We have two hyperbaric oxygen treatment units to serve patients.
PATIENT SATISFACTION Based on patient satisfaction scores, Hunt Regional Medical Center ranks first among nearby hospitals. Our scores were highest in multiple areas including nurse communication and overall satisfaction.
