Batched adds Margarita and Whiskey Sour

PREMIUM PRE-MIXED cocktail range Batched has added two new cocktails to its line-up with Salted Grapefruit Margarita and Classic Whiskey Sour.

The new additions join the existing Espresso Martini and Gin Sour. All four pre-mixed cocktails are 13.9% ABV, and a 725ml bottle makes six cocktails.

“Five years ago premixed, ready-made cocktails weren’t readily available and what was on the shelf was lacklustre in taste, outdated flavours and made with low-quality ingredients,” says Kate Smith, CMO of Premium Liquor Co., which distributes the Batched range.

New flavour from Long White Vodka

ASAHI NZ has added a new flavour to its Long White Vodka range with Peach and Pineapple – described as a “perfect pairing of delicate peach sweetness combined with the tropical freshness of pineapple.” As with the rest of the Long White Vodka range, the new addition is made with no added sugar, preservatives, artificial colours or flavours. 320ml 10-pack (4.8% ABV) RRP $29.99

Lush Strawberry & Lemon joins Vodka Cruiser range

RTD VODKA Cruiser has launched a new Lush Strawberry & Lemon flavour. The new variant is available in 12 x 250ml bottles (5% ABV) and 12 x 250ml cans (7% ABV). Both formats are RRP $25.99.

Scapegrace launches new Gin & Soda RTD

NEW ZEALAND’S largest gin distillery has launched its first gin-based RTD in a can. Scapegrace Ruby Red Grapefruit & Hibiscus Gin & Soda (5% ABV) comes in a 330ml can and uses premium, hand-crafted distilled gin straight from Scapegrace’s still in Canterbury. The new release has a balanced sweet, yet tangy profile, followed by a slightly tart finish.

After the success of its vodka RTD can range at the end of 2021, Scapegrace co-founder and Marketing Director Mark Neal says a gin can was the natural next step for the company. “We were blown away at the response we had for the vodka RTDs. After picking up two double Gold medals in the recent International Beverage Institute Awards for the vodka RTDs, we were so excited to finally add a gin varietal to the mix.”

Guarana boost for KGB RTD

VODKA RTD KGB has released a new variant with the arrival of KGB Vodka Tropical with Guarana. Asahi NZ says this ready-mixed vodka with tropical flavours and Guarana is aimed at the growing flavoured energy RTD segment.

KGB Vodka Tropical with Guarana is available in 12 x 250ml cans at RRP $25.99 and 4 x 250ml cans at RRP $10.99.
