FREIGHT POLICY
HUSQVARNA CONSTRUCTION, NORTH AMERICA
EQUIPMENT
Freight is paid (ground shipment) to one location within Canada by the carrier of Husqvarna’s choice on qualifying equipment orders (please see below). On non-qualifying orders, freight is prepaid by Husqvarna and a freight charge equal to 3.5% of the net sale price of each line item will be added to the invoice. For product that is shipped parcel, there is a $15 CAD minimum freight charge or the 3.5%, whichever is greater. For product that ships via LTL (less than truckload), there is a minimum $200 CAD charge or the 3.5%, whichever is greater with a maximum charge of $660 CAD per item. All shipments are FOB shipping point. Drop shipments are excluded from this policy. Residential deliveries and liftgates are considered special handling charges and do not qualify for free freight. See “Additional Freight Policy Terms” below.
Qualifying Equipment Orders:
Dealer/Distributor orders that meet the requirements of the 2024 Bulk Buy Program qualify for free freight
Contractor Direct orders of four (4) like pieces of equipment qualify for free freight
Diamond Tools & Abrasive Blades
Freight is prepaid (ground shipment) to one location within Canada for orders that are equal to or greater than $1,500 CAD net price. On non- qualifying orders, freight is prepaid by Husqvarna and added to the invoice. A freight charge equal to 3.5% of the net sale price of each line item will be added to the order. For diamond tooling that ships via parcel shipment, a minimum charge of $15 CAD will be applied to the entire order. For larger diamond tooling orders that ship on a pallet via LTL (less than truckload), a minimum charge of $200 CAD will be added to the entire order. All shipments are FOB shipping point. Drop shipments are excluded from this offer.
PARTS, ACCESSORIES, DISPLAYS, MISC. ITEMS
Freight is prepaid by Husqvarna and added to the invoice. A freight charge equal to 3.5% of the net sale price of each line item will be added to the order. For parts and accessories that ship via parcel shipment, a minimum charge of $15 CAD will be applied to the entire order. For larger parts and accessories orders that ship on a pallet via LTL (less than truckload), a minimum charge of $200 CAD will be added to the entire order.
Additional Freight Policy Terms:
• Customers requesting priority or air freight shipments will have a one-time expedited fee of $40 CAD added per order for parcel shipments and $130 CAD per order for LTL.
• Residential deliveries and liftgate requests will incur a charge of $130 CAD per each. If not known at the time of order, additional fees may apply at a later date
• Freight terms apply for shipments within the 10 provinces or 3 territories
• All shipments are considered FOB shipping point unless otherwise noted.
• For large equipment where the freight policy would be excessive, there is a $660 CAD max threshold per item.
DROP SHIPMENTS
Dealer/Distributor drop shipments into provinces other than their primary business location will incur freight charges. The freight program charge of 3.5% of net sales price will added to the invoice.
FREIGHT CLAIMS
Husqvarna utilizes heavy-duty packaging designed to protect its products under normal shipping conditions. If, despite our precautions, a product is received in damaged condition, the consignee (customer) should notate the damage on the BOL (bill of lading) and take pictures of the packaging/shipment immediately after the product is delivered. Please reference Husqvarna Construction’s Return of Goods Policy for guidelines and the Customer Portal to file a freight claim. This policy may be changed at any time by Husqvarna, with or without prior notice, upon Husqvarna’s sole discretion.
