SUPPLY CHAIN UPDATE

An overview of the status of major product lines at this time While it has been a challenging couple of years with respect to stock availability the Husqvarna logistics team have positioned the Australian business well for the coming EOFY period. We have a large volume of stock available in the Australian warehouses to support your busy sales period. The Husqvarna factories around the world are in full production with some small disruption with component supplies from time to time. The biggest hurdle we face at this time is freight into Australia. China shipments have been delayed, increase in transhipping with containers moving through the port of Shanghai are increasing Air freight • Shanghai Lockdown has been extended until further notice due to the high speed of the Omicron variant spread. Shanghai airport and primary port terminals remain open, however, most workers are in locked-down neighbourhoods, and the impact on production and inland logistics severely limits supply chain operations. • With limited goods available to dispatch, demand for air cargo capacity out of Shanghai is decreasing quickly, resulting in flight cancellations by carriers

Sea freight • In Shanghai, the lockdown has resulted in a lack of manpower that is required to resume normal operations at various terminals for incoming and dispatching vessels. This has further increased congestion and limited capacity at the ports. • Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post has reported that Yangshan container port is

operating at half capacity due to Covid restrictions. • This affects freight from Europe also as the Shanghai port is a major transhipping port for European freight to the Asia Pacific region

The Husqvarna logistics team are working very hard to ensure that we have stock to support our partners sales and we are looking forward to a successful EOFY period for all.
