An overview of the status of major product lines at this time
Our current stock levels and expected deliveries are the best we have seen for the last two years. There is still a real risk of supply chain interruptions over the next 6 – 12 months but there are very positive signs. Airfreight demand from Asia and Europe is softening creating better availability and a stabilisation of cost, costs remain at historical highs still. Sea container volume is still growing but at about half the rate of 2021 putting less pressure on the supply chain. Sea freight is still affected by port and rail congestion. The average delay of sea vessels is continually dropping.
