• KEEP CLEAR of moving feed bars and chain these may pinch causing severe injury. • KEEP CLEAR of feed bars. These have sharp points which are needed for teasing the bale. • ENSURE drive coupling covers are in place. KEEP CLEAR of the drive coupling as hands or clothing may get caught • ENSURE the rear fence is securely fastened when feeding on hill country, this stops the bale from falling out the back of the feeder. • ENSURE operator is familiar with the auto latch system. When the bale feeder is lowered to the ground whatever machine it is attached to, the three-point linkage will separate from the mainframe. It is important to remember this when lifting the bale feeder into or off a transport truck/trailer. See Operating
Instructions section for more. • Take EXTREME CARE when driving or feeding on hill country that the bale does not roll out of the feed chamber. Optional side bars are available from your local Hustler dealer. • ENSURE the tyne points are touching the ground when the threepoint linkage unit is attached to a tractor/telehandler and not in use or motion. • ENSURE the three-point linkage unit is latched to the main frame of the bale feeder when disconnected from a tractor/telehandler. • KEEP CLEAR of moving latch hook and sliding feet They are needed to unlatch the bale feeder from the three-point linkage unit and may cause pinch point. • Take EXTREME CARE when driving on hill country with the bale feeder attached. Avoid traversing any slopes steeper than 12° as this may cause tractor/telehandler to roll over, resulting in SERIOUS
