COTTON HARVEST IDENTIFICATION Module identification and manual tagging at the gin are a thing of the past…as are the extra resources needed to conduct these functions. Using the RFID reader on board the CP690 Cotton Picker the system reads the RFID serial numbers embedded in the module wrap, documents 18 of the most important data points during module formation to improve traceability of cotton modules as they move from the field to gin yard and through the ginning process, and sends the information to the controller. The controller collects the information and simultaneously displays the module count and serial number, and stores the information as a .txt file in the GreenStar™ 3 2630 Display. Once the information is collected it can be easily pulled off the display via data card or USB drive or sent to the Operations Center via Wireless Data Transfer, where it can be shared with the gin.

PLANTER OPTIMISATION Planting preparation is one of the most important steps in your farming operation; getting seed into the ground at the right time, right place and right rate is of paramount importance. At Hutcheon and Pearce, we offer planter solutions that give you complete confidence and peace of mind. Planters cover many acres every planting season. It’s essential to check your implement every season to ensure you are ready to make the most of the planting window.
OPTIMISATION – Option 1 TEST STAND
Get ready for planting with our infield optimisation
• Planter meters should be hitting 98% accuracy or better. Every percent under this is potential yield loss. Connecting Planter Meters to the Planter Meter Test Stand allows you to know what the current accuracy is and make adjustments to improve accuracy of that meter before the planting season. • The machine can test your rows, one by one; and indicate whether your implement is running efficiently. • The test stand displays results on the GreenStar™ 2630 Display; identifying skips, multiples, coefficient variation (CV), target population and seed singulation percentages.
OPTIMISATION – Option 2 Get ready for planting with our AMS Support optimisation -
