CE Marking From the 1st July 2013 onwards, all Rockdoor composite doors will be CE marked, in-line with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR). This means any composite door we make meets European technical standards. Already the UKs most secure, thermally efficient and stylish composite door, being CE compliant gives Rockdoor installers and homeowners one less thing to worry about.

Energy Rating

DSER's In addition to CE marking, Rockdoor provides installers a truly unique competitive edge by offering an entire series of doors available with an A-Rating for energy efficiency when combined with clear backing glass. Unlike many of our competitors stating they have A-Rated Doors, we are the 1st manufacturer to offer ratings which include small & large pieces of glass with a low Aluminium threshold. We do this by using soft coat low E glass, argon filled units, 50mm sash and carbon fibre reinforcing on the Ultimate Series.

The Rockdoor App enables you to do the following:  Take a picture of an existing door through the camera on your iPhone or iPad.  You can then choose the series, style, colour and glass design which best suits the property.  Once you have chosen a new Rockdoor, the picture can be viewed over the top of the existing door picture using Augmented Reality (AR) technology.  Provides a fantastic selling tool for Rockdoor installers when selling to customers.

Heat Shield & Heat Breaker All doors are prone to high levels of heat absorption. Allowing such high levels of heat, often up to 100°C, to be absorbed into the door itself can cause problems. Rockdoor however has the solution. Heat Shield & Heat Breaker technology which is standard on all Woodgrain & Coloured Rockdoors. Heat Shield reflects all of the NIR rays of the sun helping to keep the doors surface temperature to a minimum, whilst Heat Breaker provides a white barrier to prevent any remaining heat being absorbed into the door sash.
