The best looking safety boot you’ve ever seen? Is the new Buckler Boots Goodyear welted style safety boot on the front cover here one of the best looking safety boots you have seen? We think it must be but then again we are biased so hopefully you agree. It’s code number is B550SM, it has a wider fitting than our standard toe cap on Goodyear welted styles and it’s available from May onwards. Also new is B425SM which is the replacement style for the leather lined B420SM. It’s available now although there are still some B420SM available. In keeping with our affinity with quality leather we think B425SM is the only Goodyear welted safety boot on the UK market with a real cow hide lining - in a class of its own for all day comfort. You might think it’s unusual to introduce a radical change in neoprene/rubber welly design as we head into spring/summer but we want you to have the maximum advance notice of the new Buckbootz BBZ5060 which will appear on the UK market in August. Go to page 15 and feast your eyes on a completely new design in non safety country boots. Many Buckler Boots dealers will be aware of the campaign we instigated a few years ago to have speed lace hooks eliminated from the specification of safety boots. The campaign has been revisited frequently since then and we thought you might like to read on page 16 the account with picture of the experience of Jolanda Baarsma who contacted us via our website.

Innovation has been a key ingredient of Buckler Boots success and we recently introduced another to great acclaim. Hybridz® is a new concept in work boots - the convenience of a dealer boot combined with the fitting adjustment provided by lacing. The concept is simple - at first fitting the wearer adjusts the lacing to get the tension preferred, ties the laces as normal, then locks the bow with second tie, after that you’ve got a dealer boot with double pull loops and fitting tailored to your foot - which can be put on and removed with the same convenience as a normal dealer boot. We hear you cry ‘why didn’t someone think of that before?’

In an ironical twist our B301SM safety boots came joint first with Caterpillar in a recent makes/styles field test conducted by Farmers Weekly. The test denied us overall first because our boots didn’t have lace hooks! There has never been a Buckler Boots style with lace hooks! Sling those hooks, keep your customers safe and enjoy good trading over the spring and summer months.

BBZ 5060 is another Buckler Boots design innovation. For the past year we have been working on a completely new non-safety neoprene/rubber boot style. Our target was to give this style of waterproof footwear the look of a real quality leather boot at the welt area and to tackle the ‘fold in’ aggravation when the foot is inserted. The BBZ 5060 package is completed by fitting Buckler Boots exclusive K3 wave sole. We think we’ve created a balance of design and new features which will make BBZ 5060 the envy of its competitors and a magnet for the discerning country boot buyer.

By flaring the front and back straps up to the collar of the boot it keeps its shape when the foot is pushed inside yet maintains the snug calf fitting which is a feature of this boot type.

Our K10 sole brings together the key components of our famous and much copied K2 sole and the lighterweight K8 sole to create a high grip lightweight dual element rubber sole with a chunky tread and matching good looks. Fitted to our B1400.

The Buckler Boots K8 sole is a dual element rubber sole which reduces weight without compromising durability and grip. The K8 has the advantage of greatly reducing muck trapping. SRA certified slip resistance. K8 sole colours vary between boot styles.

The Buckler Boots K3 Wave sole has been designed, developed and tested exclusively by Buckler Boots. The multi-sipe pattern helps to reduce weight, but don’t be fooled by it’s good looks it is just as tough and durable as our renowned K2 sole. SRC max slip resistance certification.
