Phase 1- Site Analysis Cedars
Project Objective:
To illustrate the existing site conditions of Cedars district.
Project Description:
Diagrams aims to illustrate History, Demographics, Typology, Walkability, Traffic Pattern, Land Use, Strengths and Weaknesses of Cedars.
Project Requirements:
• Site Analysis Board
• Pictures of District to illustrate the existing conditions
Phase 2- Master Planning Cedars
Project Objective:
To develop the existing site conditions of Cedars district.
Project Description:
Create Master Plan to provide a long-term development plan for Cedars that targets the problems from the Site Analysis.
Project Requirements:
• Site Model to showcase the existing buildings and conditions.
• Master Planning Boards with proposals for future land use and additional programs.
Phase 3- Schematic Design
Project Objective:
To analyze the building façade, floor plans, sections that will be utilize for the final design.
Project Description:
• Select 3 precedents of building to study elements and components that make a building come together and establish the spaces for the users.
• Create gesture models that reflect the concept that will be integrated in the final design.
• Create block plans to explore alternative arrangements that respond to the site conditions and program elements.
• Create site analysis diagrams to study the site existing conditions such as: Sun, Winds, Traffic Patterns, Building Typology.
Project Requirements:
• Gesture Model on Site.
• Block Plans with space program proposals.
• Site Plan.
Phase 4- Design Development
Project Objective:
Finalize design concept and address the issue through building design.
Project Description:
• Design a concept model that captures a portion of the building.
• Construct the final presentation board that communicates the building design.
Project Requirements:
• Presentation Board
• Wall Section Model
• Final Binder
House of Free Feeling
Project Objective:
To create a single family residence that embodies the chosen music in plan, section, and elevation.
Project Description:
Using Jimi Hendrix music as a guidance to transfer rhythm, texture, and dynamic of the music into architecture. The building should reflect strong connection between music and architecture as well as evoke holistic emotion.

Rapid Design Iterations
Project Objective:
To create a tower by using Grasshopper script to perform rapid design iterations
Project Description:
Creating an office tower that fits to existing urban context of Chicago.
Project Requirements:
Using Grasshoppers to quickly generate at least 10 different design variations. The building need to have 58 floors and utilize elements from precedent towers.
THE CONCEPT OF THE TOWER IS INSPIRED BY THE SHAPE AND CHARACTERISTICS OF BAMBOO. BAMBOO IS WELL-KNOWN FOR ITS FLEXIBILITY AND DURABILITY.
