A NOTE FROM YOUR LTG Hello everyone! It's officially the third month of summer and we're off to a great start. I'm so proud of the hard work you're all putting in to better your home, school, and communities. Make sure your pushing each other to be the absolute best like I know we can be. 40W is capable of so much and staying active during the summer is how we show how amazing our division is. As SUMBO (summer board) just came to an end, a lot of information will be given to y'all so be sure to read everything that is being sent out!

Remember, my phone is always on and I'm always available for your questions, comments, and concerns.

Phone Number: (405) 488-7382 Email: hvaught01@gmail.com

Yours in service,

Since the 1940's, Key Clubs have worked with March of Dimes to make a positive impact on the lives of babies. Today, Kiwanis members continute this culture of service by hosting projects, raising funds, and educating communities about the crisis of preterm babies.

One of our biggest events every year, in October, we raise money through "trick or treating" to help raise awareness and eliminate Maternal/Neonatal tetanus.

Governor's Project Culture4Caring is a Student Leadership Committee that is invested in making sure EVERYONE feels like they belong to a caring community. Remember to take care of each other: one student, one friend, one school, one moment, and one community at a time!

District Project Our district project for the year is Key Readers. With this we will be helping to make "little libraries" where books can be donated for those in need. We will also be setting up time with elementary schools to read to children! 4

Divisional Project

As I was thinking, I have decided to broaden our divisional project. Not only are we going to focus on youth homelessness, we are going to provide service for our local nursing homes and CMN hospitals to provide help for everyone in need. Division 40W is going to be bringing in this "Culture 4 Caring" to make everyone feel loved and wanted.
