Valoya From HydroGarden

Valoya LED units are high quality, commercial grade lighting systems that are built to exacting standards in order to offer a long and stable service life. Whilst LED lighting is significantly cooler running than HID or even fluorescent lighting, an optimal temperature must be maintained within the unit to ensure a consistent quality of light in both overall output and spectrum. The majority of LED luminaires available achieve this by means of computer cooling fans, which can be both noisy and prone to failures. The Valoya range of LED manages to maintain a stable internal temperature without the use of fans by having more than adequate heat sink capabilities. This ensures not only a very stable light source, but also goes a long way to providing a long life span (>50,000 hours). This also means that the Valoya lighting systems have a very high ingress protection rating (IP), which make them perfectly suited for use in schools and research facilities that require this level of safety.

Specify the correct spectrum! Valoya lighting is available from HydroGarden stock in two different spectrums, AP67 and AP673. If you see other products on the Valoya website that are of interest we can get them for you. Just contact us directly for information and prices. The AP67 is the original wide spectrum version that is suitable for growing and flowering plants in a full term crop. Recent studies have also shown that the far-red part of the spectrum has a positive effect on root development and root growth. The AP673 version is a tuned spectrum that does not initiate generative flowering as quickly and although it can be used for full term growing, is better suited to leafy greens or stock plants. Valoya Spectra Valoya’s wide spectra offer the best possible light for plants in an energy efficient way. Valoya’s patented wide spectra are designed to optimize growth of varying plants in different applications. In addition to photosynthesis, our spectra give valuable information to plants about their environment, allowing control of plant morphology and physiological traits.

LOW INTENSITY

L-Series

These are 23 watt low intensity tube lights that are designed to retro fit into a standard T8 fluorescent fixtures. These will have a very high IP rating (IP67) when used with a suitable aquarium type fitting. These units are ideally suited to propagation or supplementary lighting for spectral correction. 0.5kg. Please note that we supply luminaire only. A suitable T8 fixture will be required. The T8 form factor allows the L-Series products to be installed in fluorescent tube fixtures without modification (fixtures with magnetic ballast). Other installation options are cost effective, easy to install end caps with IP64 rating for e.g. testing purposes. L-Series fixtures have dimming option. • Typical applications Plant factory/multilayer, growth chambers • L ight intensity in typical applications 20 ~ 150 μmol/m2/s •A vailable spectra AP67, AP673 • Accessories Ingress protection rating IP64 when using Valoya end-cap set for installation. Available from order.

MEDIUM INTENSITY

B-Series These are a 102 watt, 1.2m bar light that offer a good overall spread of light for medium intensity requirements. B-Series lights are bar shaped, thus suitable for installation where optimal uniformity is required. The form factor allows utilization of greenhouse structures in order to minimize shadowing. B-Series lights are used on hydroponic lines, as interlighting, roof lighting, in high intensity multilayer systems and in high intensity growth chambers and rooms. • Typical applications High intensity lighting, growth rooms • Light intensity in typical applications 100 ~ 800 μmol/m2/s • Available spectra AP67, AP673 • Accessories Robust hooks with varying lengths.
