God can do ANYTHING you know—
far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! Ephesians 3:20 MV
It’s time to CHANGE THE GAME! i5 CHURCH launched in September 2012 with a vision to impact people, inspiring them to impact the world with us. Our mission is to go into the world, be the tangible hands and feet of Christ by providing food, water, shelter, clothing and care to the least of these. Over the last three years, our impact has been significant. Thousands of people have discovered their God–given purpose and are now living beyond themselves. Over 300 kids have been sponsored around the world. Hundreds of students and families have discovered community through our sports programs. We have changed what Christmas and Back To School mean for thousands of kids and families in our communities. We will continue to make Jesus famous here in Maryland and beyond. It’s amazing to see all God has done in such a short amount of time. The crazy thing is, when it comes to this world change stuff, “this is just the beginning!” There are more people to be impacted, more people to be reached, and more lives to be changed. In other words, it’s time to CHANGE THE GAME! Jimmy and Irene Rollins, Lead Pastors
Be the Church The church does not exist for us; we exist to impact the world. We are not a church that does outreach we are an outreach powered by the church. i5 CHURCH is a community-centric church, which defined, is a diverse living organism that the community can rely on. The i5 Story began in 2010 while Pastor Jimmy Rollins was in Nakuru, Kenya. The vision was clear: have people BE THE CHURCH and not just attend it! We believe that people are looking for a purpose that connects them to something greater than themselves and will not be satisfied with just a weekend experience. Our goal is to transform the inward impact of a weekend experience into the tangible outward actions of Christ-followers with a mission and a purpose. In other words, we want to IMPACT YOU TO IMPACT THE WORLD.

You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. Matthew 5:14 MSG
What is Church?
T
HE CHURCH SHOULD BE A MOVEMENT TO IMPROVE THE COMMUNITY. It must provide abundant life-giving environments where people discover purpose and significance. A church is the hands and feet of Christ in the culture of its community; loving, compassionate, purposed and poised for service.

What is a community
?
Kids
Families Schools
A community is made up of the families, kids, schools, sports, playgrounds, teachers and local businesses that comprise the culture of a people-group. It is the better part of what makes up what we experience on a daily basis. It is a movement around us that continues with or without us. If we never impact it, we never will see the full potential of the story God has written for it.
THE NEED FOOD • Maryland is home to more than 750,000 people who do not have enough to eat. • By the time they are teenagers, food insecure children are more than twice as likely to have seen a psychologist and to have been suspended from school. (Grief, Lee 2008)
WATER • 2 out of 3 surveyed homeless persons report lack of access to clean drinking water.
CLOTHING • Homeless often get frostbite, infections, loss of nerve function in the feet because of the inability to obtain clean socks. SHELTER
• Nearly 1 out of every 3 homeless persons have jobs, but cannot escape homelessness. • More than 30,000 homeless children in Maryland. CARE
• 1 out of every 4 homeless are veterans.
• 800 Million people live in Extreme Poverty Globally. • 1 out 3 teens on the streets will be lured into prostitution within 48 hours of leaving home. • The Federal Government spent at least $99.8 billion providing assistance to father-absent homes in 2006. • More then 585,000 families live below the federal poverty level in Maryland.

EXPANDING OUR REACH • Provide shelter in the winter for the homeless. • Ability to expand into other housing programs. • Provide safe environments through a community center providing programs for the homeless and at risk youth and families: After-school programs, sports programs, mentoring programs, resource café, job training, one stop services through partnering with other social service programs etc.
• Expand need based distribution throughout the region: in-house food pantry with non-perishables and perishable items, mobile food trucks, in-house warming kitchen, clothing distribution. • Increase our commitment to Education, Ending Human Trafficking, and Prison Ministry. • Empower our local partners and relationships built through Be the Five and other projects through the new i5 Center 501c3 with donated goods and health and wellness services. OTHER INITIATIVES: Veteran services, Divorce recovery/prevention programs, disaster relief, partner with community centers all throughout the region.

Love beyond our preferences. Live beyond ourselves.
G
AME CHANGERS calls each of us to be personally invested in the vision of i5 while creating more opportunities for life change. Together, each of us will realize and expand the potential of the local church by living and giving beyond ourselves. It’s going to take Game Changers like you to make a unique and significant mark to change the game for those who have yet to experience freedom in Christ. Just as the game has been changed for you, join us as we expand our reach to change the game for others!

will enable us to expand our reach by having a central location to prepare and distribute food, train our student-athletes in positive safe environments, provide training and connection for our communities, and continue to experience God in incredible ways during our worship experiences. We will also create dedicated space for our kids and students as we build them into world changers. In fact, building more world changers is what Game Changers is all about. As we make moves to redeem what looks to be an old warehouse, let us never lose sight of our call to redeem and restore people. This restored facility will be the epicenter for life change and will increase our voice in the community to be a city on a hill that can not be hidden. As we continue to pursue what God has called us to do, I challenge you to make your mark as we become GAME CHANGERS in the lives of people around the world!
Our goal is to raise $9 million over the next two years to realize the vision that God has for Maryland and beyond through i5
[GROW]
IN FAITH, NUMBER AND VISION
Increase our commitment to Leadership Development for Interns, Team Leads, Coaches, and Dream Team members. Provide dedicated space for training and development of i5 and the community. Strategically position the staff to meet the demands of a fast growing church.
Open Sports Complex and training facility to generate opportunities to sustain ministry and community initiatives. Relocate our campus into a new facility nearby, which will more than double our capacity and catalyze the next decade of our story
“I’ve grown in every aspect of my life. But what I didn’t realize was that i5 CHURCH was molding me to be a leader. Being at i5, I understand what my calling and purpose is, and that’s to impact the world.”- Trenda
If it wasn’t for the vision of i5 ELITE, I don’t think I would be in church. It’s not just a track club. It reaches people through a different avenue, that wouldn’t step foot in a church.” – April
[RELATE]
TO CHURCH, FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Accelerate ministry at every level including worship, kids ministry, students and groups. Provide Community programs for families to build relationship. Facilitate diversity opportunities and awareness events. Provide dedicated space for groups and communal gatherings.

How You Can Respond: Pray This is the easiest thing to ask for and the hardest to do. Join your church family in this prayer: Lord, what would you have me and my family do to accomplish your will at i5 CHURCH?
Commit Prayerfully consider a financial commitment, over and above your current giving, to achieve our goals. Your financial commitment can be given during the campaign, ending in December 2017. Every gift is important, and it will take all of us making our mark and changing the game.
Be an Advocate Spread the word about what God is doing here at i5 CHURCH. Let your neighbors know we are making room for them. Learn about the need and the project. Read the materials and check out www.GameChangers.city and subscribe to the newsletter to stay up to date. It’s OK to ask questions. Send your questions to gamechangers@i5church.com.
