Founded approximately 4 years ago by a small group of volunteers, it was realised that there was a need for a place that could act as a focal point for the Muslim and local community to integrate and develop a social environment that was friendly, safe and that encouraged the personal growth and development of individuals and families!

The H.E.ART Centre is an arts and education centre focusing on enriching the health of the community by empowering children, young people, women, community elders and families.!

A variety of cultures and backgrounds, both Females and Males, adults and children of various ages, various working professions and diverse geographic locations! All are welcome and all do attend. We especially encourage cultural culinary diversity! !

With the variety of volunteers we have there is a large pool of experience, knowledge and skill that people can pull on. To discuss, to share and to understand. !
We have people that are business owners that are professionals in computing, law, building, teachers and lecturers, newly married, ʻseasoned married couplesʼ, social workers and much more -all lending themselves to mentoring activities.!

The centre is home to the world renowned Nasheed band AAR, who constantly support and develop the centre and are pivotal in the promotion and service of the centre, from the onset.!

To continue in the light of serving communities and certainly those that need it, (the underrepresented such as special needs, children, ladies, elders of the communities) we need support.!
We need help with our dwindled funds to again revitalise the centre, to develop further programmes, to engage a wider audience and allow more people the chance to use the centre. To adapt the centre for better fulfilling the needs of the disabled, women and the elderly. We want to do more , much more….more!
