Contributors Adiwan Aritenang is Assistant Professor and Undergraduate Program Director in the Urban and Regional Planning Program in Institute Technology BaHendung (ITB). He completed his PhD at the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) in Singapore. His research interests lie in urban and regional economics, with specialization in infrastructure and fiscal decentralization, creative city and urban analytics. Adiwan has published in various international journals and edited books such as Cities, Bulletin Indonesia Economic Studies, Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy, and the Routledge Handbook of Southeast Asian Development. He is also the author of The Impact of State Restructuring on Indonesia's Regional Economic Convergence (ISEAS Publication, 2016). Holger Briel is Dean of the Division of Culture and Creativity at Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist-United International College in Zhuhai, China. His research encompasses the fields of Media Philosophy, Digital Ethics, Computational Aesthetics and Film Studies. His most recent book, The VisionByte, will be published in 2022. Riela Provi Drianda works as an Assistant Professor in Urban Studies at the School of Social Sciences, Waseda University, Japan. She received her PhD in Spatial Planning from Chiba University, Japan, in 2012. Her research interests span both urban heritage and creativity in urban planning. Much of her work revolves around identifying popular culture's contribution to increasing cultural heritage appreciation. Since 2019, she has worked on the challenges and opportunities for Indonesia’s oldest city to brand itself as a heritage city. Currently, she is working with Palembang City's local stakeholders to popularize the urban heritage assets through popular culture. In addition to this research, she has also written on the remarkable rise of East Asian culture and its impact on urban and regional affairs, mostly focussing on the Korean Wave and the Cool Japan movement. Amitabha Gupta is Professor Emeritus of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Visiting Professor at Le Laboratoire d'informatique de Paris-Nord (LIPN), University of Paris XIII and CNRS Fellow. His areas of specialization are Mathematical Logic, Philosophy and History of Science, Philosophy of Social Sciences, Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence. He taught several courses in these areas in the H & SS Dept. and Computer Science and Engineering Dept. at IIT Bombay. He has published several book chapters and papers and has edited seven books published by Springer, College Publications, King’s College London and Allied Publishers and has been Guest Editor of Special Issues of the Journal of Indian Council of Philosophical Research. He is a member of the Association for Symbolic Logic’s Committee for Logic in East Asia, of the Steering Committee of the Association for Logic in India and the Council of ICPR. Naeim Sepehri is a Master's graduate in architecture. He researches the Islamic art and architecture basis in Iran and tries to explore their lesser-known cultural aspects. For the last four years, he has also been investigating mirror-tiles artwork in architectural spaces. Six years after his architecture studies at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy, he returned to his homeland. A passionate researcher who combines his passion for global exploration of culture with academic study and learning, he immerses himself in places and interacts with local communities to understand the basis of traditional and cultural spaces—extending the literary relationship between Science, Philosophy, and Religion from the local to the regional and
