Ghost Ranch, New Mexico, July 2007
By Jay SiegelLinda and her sister Sharon arranged for the two families to spend a week together at the Ghost Ranch in New Mexico. Ghost Ranch was originally a dude ranch that Georgia O’Keefe visited in the 1930’s and she was insprired by the surrounding high dessert landscape.
Ghost Ranch was given to the Presbyterian Church in 1955. They turned the Ranch into an education and retreat center with a focus on the arts and the southwest landscape.
I took a workshop on B&W darkroom photography from Kent Bowser and Linda and Sharon took a workshop on Native American basket weaving.
Sydney and Laura enjoyed a wide range of activities during the week.
