“Sapere Aude(Dare To Know)” is the theme of 2019 for Interntional Peace Conference, a school based event I was involved. My idea is starting with the sentence, “Ignorance is bliss” and the movie, Matrix. When you look at this thing from a little distance, it looks like a cute flower, but when you get closer and look at it carefully…” Do you dare to know what happen to this flower?” For me, the flower is bliss and the beauty of the world. However, this flower is not the perfect one(rough line) because of the evil and the weakness side of humans and also the true appearance of the world. Eyes, ears, and lips are represented how we feel the things around us and also how we don’t want to connect with the things we don’t want to know and things we don’t dare to know…

These are my design sketches for the school musical set production.
These are my design sketches of the off the grid house project. I came up with 4 possible ideas and drew the exterior and interior design for each idea, including the layout and some annotations. For Design2, I did both isometric and perspective drawing to show the different views of the house. Then I developed Design4 into a 3D model with SketchUp application.

在種籽的日子 2012 種籽是位於烏來娃娃谷的森林小學，也是我所就讀的小學。 如果 你問我：「種籽是一間怎麼樣的小學？」 我只能告訴你：「一個 我捨不得離開的地方。」這本「在種籽的日子」是我的畢製、送 給畢業後的我。也希望給你一個滿意的答案。 Seedling is a forest elementary school located in Wulai in Taiwan and is also the elementary school I went to. If you ask me,” what is Seedling like?” I will tell you,” a place I don’t want to leave.” This book is my elementary school’s graduation work in 2016 and a present for me in the future. Oh, hoping this is the satisfying answer for you, too.

Medium: Clay, Mirror Size: 23cm x 9cm x 13cm(foot) Look down, imaging that is your foot standing with a shattered mirror under your foot. “What did you do today?” “Where did you go yesterday?” “Who did you go with?” “When was the last time you are alone?” “How long have you not reflected?” Maybe is time now?

Medium: Installation, photographs, CD case, CD, tapes Size: 80cm x 40cm x 1cm From 2018 to 2020, there are 16 months when I was in UWC Maastricht. Everyone is like an album. I love to record people’s discussions, jokes, laughs. Although we can’t see each other in person, the sounds are more than visual to me, and the colors can represent their personalities. I wrote down the dates on the tapes that I remember special memories with each person and listened to the recordings of them on that special date. Although we didn’t say a proper goodbye, I will remember you. 19/03/2020

A performance art exhibition at UWCM, curated by me, 2019 The aliens are here. This is a space in-between, a wormhole linking us and them. They don’t speak what we speak, don’t eat what we eat, they live by the power of abstraction. They survive by consuming emotions, drinking pools of thought and breathing through threads of connection. We found them by chance on our walk back home, not so long after that, they settled down here. As far as we know, they want to tell us something in exchange for something. Some of them do talk, they learned English phrases when accessing the information on our computers. Those phrases are sure to be important things they want to tell. The Banana Painter, The Twins, The Monks, The Hidden, The Optimist, The Stranger, and The Guard. We followed their request to tell you guys that they want to meet you, they are quite shy so we will limit the number of people in the space. A performance art at UWCM curated by me, 2020 Human beings encounter countless conflicts, both externally and internally. Major conflicts such as war, discrimination occur between different races and countries. We also experience smaller, yet equally impactful conflicts in our daily lives. For example, on a physical level, we get headaches, we get injured, and we get sick. Mentally, we experience feelings like loneliness, anxiety and stress. The dictionary says that conflict is a serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted one. We’ve paid so much attention to conflict itself. Historical books tell stories about battles, invasions and revolutions, physiological research tells us how to achieve mental health. But as an individual, what is the meaning of conflicts in ourselves, and in the others? And, a question for you, would conflicts exist without human connections? Think about it, But nah, you don’t really need an answer. Welcome to THE EYELAND. Performers
