RSA Branding Project The Royal Society of Arts run a design competition each year, whereby students are given a brief for which they have to design a product or service. The Resourceful Supermarket brief was aimed at “encouraging a productive community. My proposal was a regular set of food education classes held in the cafes of large supermarkets with the hope of teaching vulnerable members of the community new skills and a way to get them more socially active. The brief asked for the service to be branded in a way that could be used both locally and nationally. 14

Exhibition Material Atlantic Print commissioned me to produce some promotional material for use at various business to business exhibitions throughout the year. The brief was to create an eye catching display, while portaying what the company did. The response was very positive, “The design attracted lots of attention and comment. Thank you very much! Paul Wood, Founder Atlantic Print. 18

Funeral Order of Service I designed and had printed an A5 order of service booklet for my Grandfather’s funeral. The idea was that guests could take the booklet away as a reminder of the service. The full design and printing for this project was completed in under 48 hours. 21

Exhibition Brochure Atlantic Print needed a brochure with the same branding as the exhibition posters to attract potential clients. An A5, 8 sided colour brochure was designed for use at the exhibition. 23

Wedding Invite Concept I wanted to create a wedding invite that took a non-standard shape and stood out from the crowd. The final concept was a 250mm wide folded card. Additional components such as place names and R.S.V.P cards were also designed.

University Design Week Project The brief was to design a new chocolate bar for Cadbury that was different to existing competitors currently on the market. I designed Blend, a mixture of chocolate, biscuit, toffee and nuts which the user can blend in their mouth at home or on-the-go. The packaging design attempted to give the brand a good shelf presence in the hope of persuading consumers to try a new chocolate experience. 29

Eco Rolex Watch Packaging University Project The brief was to find a product with packaging containing a large amount of non-recyclable components. We then had to redesign the packaging in a more eco-friendly way. My solution is made entirely out of soy dyed cardboard and bonded with organic glue making it fully recyclable. 31
