Unique publications for security print and packaging We thank you for your support you have given to our magazines Product & Image Security and Package Print and Converting International in the past year. In 2009 we will be incorporating the best parts of both publications in order to provide one single product the market is keen to read. Last year we received an increasing number of enquiries from Package Print and Converting International regarding the areas of Narrow Web Security and Luxury Packaging - articles and the topics we have covered have become of interest to both set of readers. So we thought that we would widen the scope and deliver one magazine to both readerships covering the best topics from each! The readership of each will receive a copy – widening greatly the opportunity for Advertisers and contributors. Product & Image Security Magazine - incorporating Package Print and Converting International - will continue to be published bi-monthly The magazine is specifically targeted at the printers and converters that supply into the growing security and non security print, security labelling and other packaging markets. With brand protection becoming a topic of major importance to brand owners the need to design, print and finish high quality customer facing print is paramount. Our new publication will carry news and articles about the very latest developments in this important market, illustrating how printers and their clients can benefit from new innovative print initiatives and solutions to securing product without compromising the important aspects of design and functionality. This media pack includes our planned forward feature programme details so you can identify any features that will be of interest to your PR department. We will of course welcome your press releases and pictures as well and include these in our news sections where appropriate. We are again planning to support a number of important industry events this year such as seminars and exhibitions with reviews and previews of what’s happening in this exciting industry. Thank you for your support in 2008 and we look forward to working closely with you in 2009 to meet your corporate promotional objectives. We very much believe our new look and focus will be extremely successful in 2009 and look forward to a great year ahead

Introduction... Product & Image Security was launched to meet the growing international demand for information concerning the problems of counterfeiting, forgery, product piracy, substitution and diversion as well as retail theft and product tampering. At the start of 2009 the magazine was joined by its sister publication to become ‘Product and Image Security incorporating Package Print and Converting’. The New magazine was created as a response to market needs where subjects in both have become increasingly of interest to both sets of readers. The publication discusses the solutions and technology available to combat worldwide Brand Protection problems without compromising the security of the technologies reviewed. The magazine also features articles and news relating to high security documents such as currency, identity cards, passports, smart cards and travel tokens. Other areas of coverage are product identification authentication, traceability, brand image protection and security labels and including tags, tickets and packaging seals. We also cover packaging issues where security and Brand Protection is becoming a significant issue - labels, containers and products - from cartons to bags and sacks, corrugated to flexibles, and pots and tubs to metal cans, especially where tamper evidence is needed. We examine production equipment such as narrow web machinery, security die cutting and U-V drying systems and services. The magazine is targeted towards the retail packaging and high security printing sectors of the market and is distributed to Government Departments, Banks and Financial Institutions as well as end users in manufacturing together with Retailers and Brand Owners. Read by top decision-makers across the world of Security Printing and Packaging - and many more leading brand owners and packaging development technologists the magazine conitues to offer a unique channel to these increasingly import secots of the market. With a highly developed reader enquiry service the publication offers a direct response medium to advertisers and news providers.
