FormedinSydneyin2002,Soda_Jerkisatwo-personartcollectivewhosearchival practicespansvideoinstallations,cut-uptexts,screensaversandlectureperformances. CurrentlybasedinNewYork,theyhavecollaboratedwithartistsincludingSamSmith,VNS Matrix,andmostrecently,theAvalanches,andformpartofthecollectivethatruns BrooklynmicrocinemaSpectacleTheatre.
ThecommissionwillallowSoda_Jerktodevelopanexcitingnewwork, Terror Nullius, whichissettopremiereatACMIin2018.
