PLUGGED IN

MOST OF US WHEN WE ARE SURROUNDED BY OTHER PEOPLE ARE EITHER “HERE I AM” OR “THERE YOU ARE” KIND OF PEOPLE. THE “HERE I AM” LOVES THE ATTENTION, WANTS ALL EYES ON THEM, AND PUTS THEIR NEEDS AND DESIRES BEFORE OTHERS. THE “THERE YOU ARE” FOCUS ON VALUING OTHERS, BEING EXCITED WHEN THEY ARRIVE, AND QUICKLY ENGAGES WITH OTHERS. IN YOUR HOME, WHAT WOULD IT TAKE TO BE A “THERE YOU ARE” KIND OF PARENT? WHEN YOU COME HOME EACH NIGHT, WHAT WOULD NEED TO CHANGE?
