Seating Systems 3D design technology fully engineered custom solutions
Grand Slam Sporting Equipment has extended its capabilities and can now offer a range of grand stand and seating solutions for indoor and outdoor sporting facilities. With our team of highly skilled draftsman and designers we are able to provide fully engineered custom solutions in fixed, mobile and retracting seating. As with all of our equipment, our manufacturing facilities produce to the highest quality and safety standards.
Fixed Seating Manufactured from galvanized steel our fixed seating systems provide maximum strength and durability. All designs are fully engineered to comply with relevant Australian Standards. Choice of seating types includes aluminum bleacher, plastic molded or marine ply seating options.
Retractable & Mobile Seating Grand Slam retractable seating systems are formed from rows of mobile platforms. These are tiered to produce versatile seating for sporting venues where space is restricted and court areas need to be maximized. Choice can be made from our standard configurations or designed to suit your requirements. For smaller seating systems, platforms can be retracted or moved manually. Motor operation allows for increased length and number of tiers or concurrent operation of individual or linked units for larger systems.

Grand Slam: Seating Systems Grand Slam Sports are a supplier of premium sporting equipment, retractable seating and sports flooring. We have a 20 years history in the industry and have completed well over 2000 indoor sporting equipment installations. We have recently developed both in-house and outsourced fixed and retractable seating systems to allow us to offer our customers maximum choice and value.
Planning & Design Our designers will assist in the planning and selection of appropriate seating systems to suit your facility. We are able to offer tailored solutions to suit your budget while maximizing the function and amenity of your facility. The final solution may be fixed, retractable, mobile or a combination of these seating types. These seating systems are designed using the latest in 3D design technology and industry best practice. This allows our design team to virtually prototype and demonstrate the function of the seating solution before manufacture. General Information All systems are engineer certified and fully comply to Australian Standards. System are locally tested for 5kPa load capacity. System components are manufactured from pregalvanised steel with powdercoat finish. Seating systems are provided with 12 month warranty with periodic maintenance agreements available with extended warranty.
Case Studies: Nambour Civic Centre Client: Sunshine Coast Council Capacity: 420 System Type: Travelling unit with fully automatic rear mount seating Project Details: Fully Automatic Retractable Seating system for the Sunshine Coast Council at the Nambour Civic Centre. This system provides seating for an audience of 420. Seating is rear mounted with high quality fabric upholstery over moulded base and backrest. Stained timber cladding to backrest and base also. System is fully automatic and with seating raised and lowered by motor operation. Retractable stand is a travelling unit and can be moved forward or back in the hall to suit performance requirements. Removable seating was provided to allow maximum flexibility for audience configurations.

Seating capacity of 50. Included folding and removable handrails, locking mechanism for open and closed positions.
