From 1 to 9 December, 2023, the Netherlands will host the annual Week of Integrity, championing the cause of collective responsibility towards fostering integrity across governmental, business, and civil societal spheres
This initiative closes with the International Integrity Conference on December 8, facilitating discussions and workshops aimed at shaping solutions and raising awareness.
The week ends on the 9th of December, recognized worldwide as the United Nations International Anti-corruption Day, bringing even more attention to our cause.

ICC’s Integrity Book 2023, the fifth edition of the successful publication, aims to promote further thinking and bring inspiration to its readers on the importance of ethics: business leaders, policy makers, politicians and academia around the globe. This year ’ s theme, “The Moral Compass, Shared values in global context”, links the subject of ethical behaviour with complicated circumstances that may influence one ’ s considerations and actions.

In line with previous y ears, inspiring authors were invited to contribute to the Integrity Book Thought leaders from the business and the public sector, academics and from NGO’s will provide for different perspectives.

ABOUT THE INITATOR
Week of Integrity Foundation
The Week of Integrity Foundation is responsible for the organization of the Week of Integrity and serves as a vessel for the growing initiative. Since its inception, the Week of Integrity has grown significantly, with other countries taking up the concept.
To uphold the multi-stakeholder aspect and enable further expansion, the initiator (ICC Netherlands) decided to create a foundation
Its objective is to promote business integrity in the broadest sense, in the Netherlands as well as abroad.
In June 2023, the Week of Integrity was awarded the Jacobus Oranje Medal, “ as the people and organization behind this initiative are committed to putting the focus on integrity back on the map, both in the boardroom and in the workplace, national and international. It is a multi-stakeholder initiative that aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and stimulate debate on integrity ”
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the world’s largest business organization, is committed to a good business climate and fair competition.
Since the 1970s, ICC has taken the lead in promoting ethical business The ICC has been involved in a range of anti-corruption initiatives among which the OECD and the UN Anticorruption conventions. Not only does ICC denounce corruption, it also develops guidelines and training materials ICC raises awareness and regularly provides trainings, both for companies and government organizations, including the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
