This incredible adventure gives you the rare chance to walk into a glacier and look into its very heart. The Into the Glacier experience was developed in 2015 as a way to educate people about how glaciers are formed. The focus is on education, environmental protection and safety. On board an 8-wheel glacier truck you will get to the top of the entrance of ice cave, and once inside you’ll see colors of blue you never knew existed and learn how glaciers hide the secrets of history.

Add some fun learning to your Blue Lagoon tour! Reykjanes Peninsula is a UNESCO Geopark packed with amazingly bizarre examples on geothermal and volcanic activity. Visit landscapes that look like the moon or Earth a million years ago—or take a walk on a bridge across two continents. You’ll learn how our planet was made. There’s also an option to visit a geothermal power plant exhibit about steam energy.

Horse Riding

Iceland’s unique horse breed has not changed since Viking times. Icelandic horses are friendly and easy to ride. Horseback riding is a great way to see Iceland’s landscape and nature up close, plus it’s just great fun! Guides will share fun facts with you during the ride about horses, landscapes, history and more. (P.S.Icelandic horses love it when you sing to them) Note: tour may be shared with other visitors.

Whale Watching from Reykjavík Harbour

Iceland is fantastic for whale watching. During a boat tour you might see different types of whales, dolphins, seabirds and seals. Marine biologists on board will also teach you amazing facts about whales on this educational and interactive tour. Please note this tour is weather dependent and whale sightings are likely but not guaranteed. Note: Tour is shared with other visitors.

Cave Exploring in Raufarhólshellir

Discover how volcanoes helped create Iceland with an exciting walk through a lava tube cave. You’ll see the inner workings of a 5,200-year-old eruption.
