Working tirelessly through Christmas and New Year’s, this exceptional team demonstrated unwavering commitment, overcoming significant logistical and operational challenges. Singapore team members skilfully balanced daily responsibilities and made several trips to Penang, while the Malaysia team contributed valuable time and effort, even before their official start dates. Their meticulous planning and collaboration were instrumental in ensuring the centre was ready on the first day, treating nearly 12 patients, and exceeding 30 patients by the second day with numbers continuing to grow.

The Survivorship Team has been instrumental in developing and delivering a groundbreaking service aimed at supporting patients as they transition from active treatment to recovery. By using the insights gained from the first pilot phase, the team expanded the service, with 16 nurses now involved in providing comprehensive care. Each team member has brought their unique skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients, creating Wellness Care Plans tailored to six different patient cohorts.
The team has also integrated care pathways into Aria, along with forms for Medical Oncology patients, to ensure data is captured and used to improve patient care. What sets this team apart is their commitment to developing the service alongside their day-to-day responsibilities. The team was recently recognised for their work on the program, winning the Consumer Partnership and Engagement Award in the Private Hospitals Association (APHA) Awards for Excellence - a testament to the program’s impact.

The Strategic Communication and Brand Team has led a transformative year for Icon’s communications, fostering stronger connections across the Group. Internal Communication and Design collaborated closely to refresh key campaigns like Be Iconic Day, the Iconic Awards, and the new Site Stars program, bringing them to life with engaging videos, assets, activities, and templates that resonate across teams. This redesign drove a 25% increase in Be Iconic Day eCard engagement and a 22% boost in peer-to-peer nominations for the Iconic Awards, with feedback describing these as the most organised and impactful campaigns in recent years. The team also launched tools like the Leader Hub, Recognition Hub, Template Hub, and a more consolidated intranet, streamlining access to resources and connecting teams.
Externally, the team’s UK expansion communications plan aligned seamlessly with the Australian team, boosting Icon’s presence on LinkedIn, the Icon website, and through partnerships like Nuffield Health— creating a unified, global brand experience.
