THE STORY
The Pronghorn
The Pronghorn Pronghorn Racing is a Danish bicycle manufacturer named after the Pronghorn antelope, a creature that has been clocked at speeds over 100 km per hour and the only mammal that can hold the pace over a longer periods of time. The story behind Pronghorn Racing “We at Pronghorn take a low-key approach to brand recognition, unlike brands that emblazes their name on every available surface of a frame or component.” “Our bikes stands out in a crowd, not only because of all the numbers on the tubes, but also due to our patent pending “Anti Power Loss System” rear suspension system. “The word on the street isthat the above-thetop-tube shock position allows for increased lateral rigidity and less bobbing. Your training partners will turn heads, not only because you are riding in front but also because the bike looks different.” “Remember, the best ride is when you ride on TOP.”
CEO Kenneth Dalsgaard
A.P.L.S
Anti Power Loss System The patent pending Anti Power Loss System (A.P.L.S.) developed by Pronghorn Racing consists of a series of highly innovative design features and technologies. Together, these provide a significantly more efficient way to get from A to B – faster. This unique system consists of a specially designed linkage with the shock mounted above the top tube, designed to reduce power loss both on the flat and uphill. This top mounted shock makes for a more rigid rear triangle. The combination with the new linkage design ensures a straight push on the shock, cutting down on friction. This set-up also means that you don’t need an additional pro-pedaling shock – a huge cost and weight saver that
also boosts performance by reducing bobbing. A shock in this position also gives you easy access to lock outs while riding, and does away with any need for remote lockout access systems. The Pronghorn Racing A.P.L.S. system let’s you use just the type of shock you prefer. The A.P.L.S. setup features a special reinforced seat stay with the rear dropout section structurally integrated. This gives greater strength and enables you to use the horst link more efficiently. This unique design means that we have been able to move the horst link closer to the bottom bracket. The payoff is that you lose less power when pedaling over rough terrain.

THE TERMS Costumer security As the ultimate quality check Pronghorn works with independent carbon and alloy experts to continuously evaluate our frame quality, and to verify the most complex warranty cases. Through X-Ray we identify weaknesses down to even the smallest fracture before or after any incidents, and with an accuracy of more than 99% point out the real cause for an eventual incident. This gives our costumers the best possible comfort when buying and riding Pronghorn. The test Radiography is a Non-Destructive Examination method that uses X-ray and Gamma-ray for detecting internal imperfections or defects.
Warranty and Crash replacement
Pronghorn TOP of the class “We have done extensive research using X-ray nondestructive testing technique (NDT) and studied several Pronghorn PR6 Carbon (also carbon/ alloy combinations) frames, and we have rated them with a 8.0 on a 0 to 10 scale (10 beingthe highest score). From several manufactures in the world we have checked the frame quality using X-ray (also before, during and after the frames were used in the field). At this moment the highest score for a frame of any of the checked manufacturers, was an 8. At this moment there are only a few manufacturers, who have frames in their program (which where checked using X-ray) that reach the high quality standard of the Pronghorn frame.
Dr.Ir. Richard Oosting

PR6–XC CARBON
Special Molding The XC Carbon frame is made with a special patented technology: Smooth Wall Inside (SW). Instead of traditional carbon molding SW uses Latex hosing for molding and not plastic as normally used. The result is a smoother inner surface, creating a more even stress distribution, increased strength and lower weight. Frame 16.0” 18.0” 20.5”

PR6-HARDTAIL
About the frame As with our full suspension XC series, this hardball is designed to go as fast as possible from point A to B. Low weight, short race geometry and low positioning makes this frame super fast on the track. In fact this is one of the lightest hardtails on the market. However low weight alone is not our aim with this frame. Our aim is durability combined with low weight and a STW value on 122.5 makes this a rigidand responsive racer. The facts The XC-Hardtail is optimal matched for 100 to 120 mm front suspension. STW Who will benefit True racing hardtail believer who won’t carry around any unnecessary weight. Customers say 7 to 8 kegs complete bike is normal for many Pronghorn XC-Hardtail costumers.
