What these folks have been able to do in their career is remarkable and we are excited to showcase these abilities with this magazine and event. Choosing only 25 of these very successful people was extremely hard and selecting only 5 finalists was even harder. I hope you can appreciate the efforts of our committee and the high level of our successful nominees. They deserve the accolades and we really appreciate all their work. Bringing together such amazing people is something special. The work they do in their life is nothing short of amazing when you really think about it. Running a business, teaching kids, managing people, enriching the lives of others and keeping it all together at home is what makes these people great and what makes our area special. Take some time to send them a note congratulating them on all their work. Celebrating the great things people do in this community is something we feel is important, there is no shortage of accomplishments to celebrate. In

that regard I have made presentations to several local civic organizations such as Rotary and Civitan Club on that issue. I will continue to do that, until the 80,000 Idahoans who do not have any type of medical coverage have access to proper medical services.” In addition, Doug is the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Friends of Idaho Public Television, and is in his second term on the Board for IPTV. After attending Mountain Home High School as a member of the National Honor Society, Doug graduated with High Honors with a BA in Government from Idaho State University in 1974.
